I cannot point full blame at this last patch, but the timing is just so "coincidental" that I have to share.

I setup my venture for an asteroid or two and stepped away to do dishes. I come back and find some pop up stating that something is closing. I hit okay, the game closes. I relaunch and a patch is being installed.

At that same time, tranquility server refuses to let me login. I get a no connection / timeout error where the login would normally be. None of the other servers gave me that problem.

At the same time, my internet started acting up on almost all websites. Facebook pages wouldn't load anything but text while CNN and Google were totally fine. I couldn't log into Eve forums or support pages without a no connection error.

I called my ISP and they recognized some issue affecting multiple households in my area. But That does not explain why I can connect to certain websites and to all Eve servers EXCEPT tranquility.

I found "https://www.ismyinternetworking.com" which has a link to a OpenDNS instruction manual. I made the suggested changes and now I'm back in working order.

SO this seems to be an ill-timed issue between ISP and Eve but I have a very hard time believing that they were not related. I work as a software tester and I have seen strange things (with the strangest being a test pw and ID in a test environment knocking out test and production environments for a full day before anyone found out the issue).
