Mineral to Ore calculator?

So I've been trying to build a spreadsheet that determines the cheapest way to reprocess a set of minerals from compressed ore, and I've realized that my excel foo isn't quite strong enough

Are there any tools out there that already do this? I've tried the compressed ore calculator on fuzzworks, but it only spits out least volume.
Or if there isnt one out there does anyone know how I could make one?

Thanks

You want to do some linear programming.

Look up the Diet problem. Ore compression, or what you want, is just a reworded version.

(Where the ore is the kind of food, and the nutrients are the the various minerals)
