Need Help Getting into Space with my Character

I played EVE for the last two weeks and had no problem logging in or creating a character. (despite the obvious Ascension patch), but since today i cant get into space anymore.

Launcher seems to work pretty fine, cause i can still get into my Accounts Character Selection, unfortunately i cant get any further.
Clicking my Characters picture (which is the only thing i can see at the moment (no ISK Balance, Skilltraining,SPamount) dosnt do anything, but a sound like i log in, which it doesn´t.
Same with Creating a new Character. A little PLING PLANG, but then again, nothing at all.

I wasnt able to find any similiar case via Google so this might be a special problem, though i hope, someone knows a workaround. I would really appreciate it.

Try this for me: launch the launcher and click on the cog wheel above the game clock, should say settings below it. Then, click on the "General" tab and then "Shared Cache Settings". Finally click on the button "Verify". Some people have reported that working for them.

Yep - Thank you, Sobaan Tali, I had the same problem as MajorMorgan Kell and it worked out fine
