Can I run multiple clients from a single EVE folder?

This is basically only for when friends come over (who log on individually) not for multi-boxing.

Setup being, on a gigabit LAN, one single EVE installation folder on a share/NAS and everyone runs the launcher from a shortcut.

As far as anyone knows, will that cause problems? I used to run a few games that way in the past on my LAN to save having to sync all the games folders when I had friends over.

Too much hassle just to save time doing syncs or updates?

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.

It's possible to run the clients that way. But I don't know if you might run in to any issues if there's an update and multiple launchers are trying to write to the same files at the same time. I guess you could solve this (if it actually is an issue, I don't know) by designating one person as the master updater and let him be the only one with write access to the share.
