Out of Pod Experience

My wife has been behaving quite strange for some time now.
Whenever she gets a phone call in my presence, she suddenly becomes quiet, leaves the room and begins to mumble.
If she gets a text message she deletes the message immediately and i can not read it at all. When i once wanted to check the time on her phone she raged and said i wanna control her or some ****.
When she goes to he city, she comes back very late and is supposedly out with some good friends from her working place I don’t know.
I always stay awake at night and stand on the balcony, waiting for the cab that brings her home again. But every time she walks around the corner, I can hear the car, but never see it. How so? Because it may not be a taxi??
I think she is cheating on me...
Everytime I address it to her, she blocks off immediatly. I wanted to know the truth and last night when she was out again I wanted to check it out this time when she came home.
I had an idea.
I parked my car just at the corner, where her "cab" always delivered her. At first I wanted to sit in the car and hide myself, but maybe she would have discovered me too easily. So I was ducking behind my car and waited for her to come back and I noticed that the rear right fender had a little bit of rust on it.
Now my question: Should I change the complete rear fender or should I smoothly rub the spot clean and overpaint it?
