Hello, i used to play EvE a while ago, but i unsuscribed, and now and back to check out the unlimited trial/free to play.

I heard there was supposed to be a new storyline tutorial where you start out in the middle of a battle but when i made a new character i didn't see anything special, just a few "Opportunities" to do and then i got sent off to the Career agents.

Did I miss the storyline ? Or is it not available on old accounts even for new characters ?

I'm told you need to create a new account to see the new New Player Experience.

I've only played through it on the test server, where everyone was pestered by the NPCs to start the NPE :D

Thanks, well that sucks, i guess i'll just start with a fresh account since it's been a few years anyway.

That's exactly what I did. The new tutorial allows new players to get the basics down pretty quickly (the interaction with NPC's is a welcome addition) but it seems to be over pretty quickly... all the better to get you into space though!
