From a cinematography stand point there should be a option under effects to disable command burst effects, There clunky and ugly and I can see them often ruining videos from those that are trying to make cinematic videos. I also wish there was a way to disable JUST tethers for the same reason. I been playing around with a timelapse of a keepstar's undock and it looks like crap seeing mainly the tethers of the ships instead of the ships themselfs....
