Mine Repeatedly Hotkey plz?

There's a hotkey for combat drones to engage targets- but it doesn't function for mining drones. : > This makes no sense. I want my miner minions to engage that helpless rock. It's strange to me that there's a hotkey for everything but this.

Erm ... do they no longer mine repeatedly?

Isn't there a checkbox for that along with the "passive" and "focus fire" setting? I may be delusional though.

Yes they mine repeatedly- it's just having to select the rock, right click a dropdown box- select mine repeatedly seems like it could be cleaner with just a simple hotkey. Or allowing the "Engage" command that combat drones get (a hotkey) function with the Mine Repeatedly command. Doesn't really make any sense to me that it's not a thing YET. I know I sound super duper lazy- but honestly- if you can, on one keystroke, tell a drone to go kill something, you should be able to tell a mining drone to go collect rocks with a single keystroke as well.

They could have done more with this mining drone update. For one you cant really tell what drone is one what, like the way a mining laser works. You have to hover-over the drone in space to highlight it on your list. They were clunky to use before, I wish it would have been improved.

The standard drone-attack hotkey should work for mine-repeatedly. (who wants to mine 1-off?) tho micromanaging drones still requires right-clicks.

Personally I find the micro-management required when using drones while mining ore far too tedious.

Ice is a bit better, but you need to stay close to whatever roid you assign your drones too. Will be better able to gauge this once I get into T2 drones.

I agree the whole process is "clunky" to say the least.

you can hold left mouse button to get the radial menu up then pick the mine option on top.

They could do even better:

Mine - may work as current Mine repeatedly for micromanagement maniacs who wish to maximize their profit selecting specific asteroids.
Mine repeatedly - may work as Salvage all command. Drones will chew all nearest roids randomly, just like Salvage drones salvage wrecks.
