The price you pay is for the Aurum in that pack and all the other things are just gimmicks.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

The AUR is worth $5 all by itself.
If they give you 20 extra days when you subscribe, that alone is worth more than $5.
Ships and items - eh you can get those in-game.

The skill books you get are untrainable with an Alpha clone

So, what you are saying, is I have to subscribe to use my content pack?

I haven`t checked, but have CCP specified that these content packs are only any good, with a subscribed account?
(I bet they haven`t)

Not to my knowledge. They probably haven't even thought about this yet, so I wouldn't do anything right away, except write a ticket, and wait for a response.

I also wouldn't worry about the skillbooks too much, because if you can't use them, you can still sell them, and that's fair. They are nothing to write home about anyway. The same goes for any modules or ships in the pack. The Aurum is fine too.

If you however were supposed to get a booster of some sort that doesn't work now (still dunno what exactly was supposed to be in those packs, but I think a booster of sorts was mentioned earlier), I would mention that to them, as well as ask about the game time that now doesn't do anything for you. Typically, CCP are quite accomodating when it comes to things like that, but they are completely scatterbrained and it will take them a while to figure this out.

I too am one who bought all 4 packs. Only to get shafted 4 days later :D CCP finally replied 14 days after ticket only to tell me that there isn't anything they can do as i redeemed the items and used game time. LOL.

They did however award me 12 days omega time for waiting for ticket to be answered.

All i needed was to have my Plex that wasnt usable to be changed to omega for the duration.

Problem solved.


FYI - you can still buy content packs now and nowhere does it say require omega to use. I feel sorry for any alpha who buys them.
