I recieved this comment on one of my bug reports:

CCP Dev

Dear user,

We have closed this report as part of a mass closure. If you are still experiencing an issue we request that you create a new bug report, preferably from within client immediately following reproduction of the bug to provide pertinent information relating to the issue.

Please also note that bug reports should be used to inform us of problems, and if you require a response or compensation, or if your issue is time-sensitive, please instead file a support ticket at https://support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us.

1) Where is this announced prior to happening?

2) Why didn't all my accounts that I had bug reports get this notification?

3) After taking the time to submit a bug report no one answered it for months, now it's been closed, and you want me to reopen them and actually think anyone will even look at it this time?

What gives?

They had a lot of bug reports in the last few days for going F2P.

Just resubmit it?

I dont see what the deal here is. Was it a gameplay-breaking bug that completely prevented you from playing the game for a couple months? If not, just resubmit.

They wiped them before the patch even hit.

Just resubmit it so no one can pay attention to it for months then just delete it?

Sounds normal for CCP.

I gave up submitting *repeatable* bugs the best part of a decade or so ago because the (unpaid, unqualified) "bughunters" couldn't be arsed to read the report properly.

Scandi companies don't tolerate dissent at mid/high levels of management. Its all "awesome" even when its patently crap - look at how the Eve UI has got worse over the last 3-5 years. Thank gods I'm not new & having to setup a skillqueue is all I can say.

NB - not a rant, observations of someone who was playing this in May 2003.
