Was I impatient too much? Was this a childish move? Would this be sorted possibly already today?
Maybe a bit of everything.

From my point of view they should have:
- warn players about email change in advanced
- not make this move about banning certain email addresses

However their game their rules.
I can do only what I did - whine and cancel.

still waiting . just sent another support ticket (3rd time since 14th november) got a quick response of the same reply about checking spam folders etc on my now non existent email address .

how long do i have to wait to play the game i'm paying for?

Gonna bump this up as i have the same problem with 1 out of 3 of my accounts!!
Just will not receive confirmation mail via hotmail and absolutely no way to change it.!!! Account paid up for another month the week just before the patch and now i cannot use it! Well done CCP !!

Also been waiting to have my email address fixed - ticket #297177

A GM actually replied 2 days ago and said they had changed the email to my current usable address - either they did not or something overwrote their changes and it reverted to the previous incorrect address. So now I am wondering if my ticket will be ignored for the time being as having been 'fixed' already... Ugh

For me its done. Mail changed by GM and it works. The reimbursment for Omegas guaranteed by CCP when logging in, is not available at the moment. May be it will come. Ticket is updated.

Answering some questions then closing this thread.

1. The email verification change was announced about a month ago.
2. Opening multiple tickets on the same issue will cause further delays. Please update your ticket not file a new one.
3. GM's will be working through the weekend to answer tickets on these issues so please be patient.
