Cant get pass Character Selection screen.

what to do? dont tell me " install eve again" i wont bother wasting my complete evening downloading the patcher again.

to lighten things up a bit: im playing on mac, and something with this new patch seemed to have **** up some data within wine bottle.
i used LogLite, and it keeps counting numerous erros, most of them located in wine.

im trying to reinstall now ( hooray 2hours+ of downloading **** -.- )

this is super annoying, first i couldnt even log in at all, cause i somehow got send THREE verification codes, for whatever reason.
also this forced two factor thingy is totally bullshit, at least.
and now after solving this, i keep on being stuck in character select. i truly hope this redownload of client+content will solve it.

damned. every patch brings some issues for me, but this is the worst, so far....

Same here.

Everything works fine up to the char selection window. Chars grey and no adding new char possible either. Totally stuck.

Ticket is of no help, since they repeatedly just send the same mass reply again which is on the website to be read. I even wrote "Login OK, char grey / not clickable" in the topic, but they don't seem to care.

Deleting .../AppData/Local/CCP didn't help. Surely a new install won't help and is a waste of time. And jaja, my Launcher is in English; repeating that "hint" again and again isn't helpful in any way.

Having the exact same problem. Only shows one character with no details. Can't go any further. Can go to the store from the character selection screen, which is useless if you can't play the game.

found the solution.
open patcher , go to settings --> shared cache settings--> click verify. it will check all ur eve cache data ( may take some time) and replace corrupted files and/or delete duplicates.
worked for me.

ill be honest they screw up every expansion I almost dread them now. At least they didn't rewrite everyone windows INI files and crash your machine. Yes CCP has done that in the past with updates. In most cases I just hate these updates because they break the game for days.

Where can you download a client that works when i try to download the client i get this sweet gem message. Prior to this upgrade *rolls eyes* everything worked fine.

My work around to this problem was to uninstall and re-download the client using steam.

Same problem here: updated, tried to log in, but character selection window stuck.
