Crashes when I click "PLAY" in Launcher. Error from Wine

Greetings,

I am confused about what is going on. Is this Mac native? When I click "PLAY" in the launcher it gives an error ,"exefile.exe has encountered a serious problem".

MacBook Pro 2012
Mac OS X 10.9.5

I had similar problem, after upgrading to macOS Sierra, however i quit the launcher and it took atotal of 3 times relaunching it and letting it patch out and now it works flawlessly.

it is possible that the current build of Eve isn't compat with whatever version fo wine runs on Mavericks.

I am a miner, mission runner, and explorer...

or as EVE Online would have it...
