yeah I have waiting since this "expansion " today, for them to get to my "ticket" ,they have had solutions to this,in a sense its like telling God he is wrong,if it was true,he couldn't admit it,cause it would go against God is all knowing. I wasted a day sitting here waiting on a fix,but it must be past CCP's bedtime.

No sense in 'paying" for all this right...F2PLY great idea CCP.

Issues

* Secondary characters on account with paused queues somehow became active queues. So I had to log on each character and clear queue to finally make my main trainable.
* Wording on two factor authentication should be changed. It still says "you have chosen two factor authentication" It should just say, "This account uses two factor authentication"

Most of the rest concerns the NPE.

* Empire descriptions sound a bit biased. Amarr are actually described as "doing unspeakable evil for their god." That needs to go. "Will do anything for their God." is less biased. Every empire is described as having positives and negatives, except Gallante. They should have a negative too. And since they are a "pure democracy" I recommend the downside being "but minorities tend to forgotten, ignored, or worse by the overwhelming voice of the majority."

* The moving blue selection window should never cover the hud, the select target window, or any other window for that matter. Moving the view around to get the blue window out of the way was a constant source of annoyance.

* Caldari should probably receive a shield booster not an armor booster, or Aura's comment should be modified. She says to use the module when you "take damage". But any newbie could be easily confused when they see red and hit the armor repper, and see no change since the armor rep does nothing until armor takes damage, Aura should explain the whole shields/armor/structure thing, and suggest turning on the armor rep when armor damage is taken instead. If you don't switch to a shield boost.

* Stupid pop-up radial menu needs to be looked at. In the process of trying to move the helpful-but-annoying-moving-except-when-it-covered-something-important blue window out of my way, I was constantly clicking in space and sometimes activating the radial menu accidentally. Anyone who spends lots of time online knows that many pop-ups are deactivated by clicking in an empty space of the window. Which is what I did. Somehow this changed my default orbit distance to 100km. Radial menu should ignore clicks outside the menu radius. I can totally see any newbie having this same problem.

* There were frequent points where the tutorial seemed to freeze. For example, when trying to use blueprint for the analyzer the blueprint window wouldn't install the blueprint the first 3 times I tried. It took 4 tries to move things along.

Hey Devs, how about some kind of update? Tickets are not being answered, emails are ignored! How about taking a few minutes to tell us what YOU are doing to help US get in the game? Currently I just know that I can't get in and NOTHING you have offered up has worked.
So how about some empathy and tell us what is up?

it's release day, you probably won't get a return on any tickets for days. Filing muliple tickets just increases the delay time for others.

Unless you are actually playing the game right now, and experiencing a stopped ship, or some other kind of issue that makes you unable to continue playing the game, your ticket will be triaged. CCP will get to your ticket, but only when all the higher priority tickets are cleared first. Long delays for petitions on a release day (week) is pretty standard in every mmo.

I have got a major account problem


I was on 21 day trial but I bought an extended trial, with booster and extras

Now, I am in an ALPHA Clone with 32 days PLEX time remaining;
however, I am limited to what an Alpha clone can train only

The booster still works, but my old skill queue has been disabled:
I was training Amarr ships and guns, even though I am Caldari

OK, I`m a Trial player, but I paid for extras that are now totally useless to me, as I cannot train to use them on an Alpha Clone

FIX THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF YOU DON`T GET THE POINT, YOUR EXTRA PACKAGES ARE NOW A RIPOFF (new CCP scam?)

no option to re-send activation link or re-send code


i have an account that didnt get the activation email and another that didnt get the code

poor design imo

ALWAYS have a re-send option

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

yep,they got your money ,they don't care after that,if you didn't "pay" ,then you didn't really lose ,and if you looking to CCP for a fix...well you can see from this blog,all they know is cut copy paste email...CCP another win,players another loss.

Have the same problem. ~ 3 months of skill training gone and the queue happily continuing on at login (with no paused warnings) like it was August... Evemon have reported completed skills the whole time, and I was supposed to have 1 hour left when I logged on today.

Fitting tool does not display newly fitted modules. I have to undock to see, if modul is really fitted ( or not fitted).

Well, There are people like me that verified every single email prior to this clusterf*ck just to find that several accounts required the mails to be verified anew today. Every single one of my accounts had shown the mail as verified a few days ago.
Besides that little details you might be surprised that there are players who have a tiny bit of real life left and possibly could not log into their accounts for a few days. You know, working People on business trips, deployed soldiers, people who did not take their PC with them on vacation. There might be one or two of them out there, you know? They might not have seen the shiny posts, because they maybe only heared from a friend today that an presumably awsome expansion is about to go live...
Of course real veterans would still come back only three days later after the worst kinks have been ironed out. Compared to some older expansions today went comparably well.Roll

EVE is my favorite game! I have played it for about ten years and have plexed and paid for many subscriptions off and on for the last decade. I have been playing multiple accounts for the last several years, never using ISBoxer or any other illegal means to profit or pay for my accounts. I have always tried to comply with CCP's EULA to the best of my knowledge, but I admit, I just click Accept any time a EULA agreement comes up without "studying" the details and what all it entails. I feel MOST normal people do this with most games as EULA's are generally the "legal mumbo jumbo" required to cover your liabilities and protect all parties and such. I understand I am responsible for holding up my end of the EULA and subject to CCP's decision if I have broken it.

With this new release, I know there are many issues with email verification.

My first question is simple ... Will CCP be making an easy way to link multiple accounts to a single email without having to petition each and every account individually?

Gaming in MMO's over the last decade, I have created over 20 email accounts.
I have changed passwords so many times for "account security" that I have over 60 possible passwords on those accounts which I have written down in my notebook to try to keep track of them all. Some I did not write down :(
I have tried to access some email accounts to verify EVE and those accounts have been inactive for YEARS.
One email wants to "message" me a code on my cell phone to reactivate my email .... I don't have a cell phone btw ....
Another email provider has temporarily "frozen" my account due to inactivity but I may contact their customer support.
I can see how this is a serious issue for players who made their accounts over a decade ago.

Secondly .... Is it possible to allow access in account management using usernames and passwords?

I ask this because when I tried to sign on to several accounts, an email verification was sent ... I just didn't know where to ... I would have written down the email accounts I have used on every account IF I had known I would not be able to access account management to see which EVE account was linked to which EMAIL account. I have previously been able to just sign on to my accounts to find out this information any time I needed it ... like when the new launcher came out before.

I feel CCP seems to have encouraged a true sandbox in EVE and LOVE the vision and direction CCP has taken recently. I think many "multiboxing" account holders are in the same position which I am in due to CCP's recent email verification change as 2 of about 10 people I have talked to have had issues as well.

Thank you for dealing with this issue and congratulations on what otherwise seems to be an epic release.

Simple fact is, that every other game developer that has an MMO provides optional security for accounts, this **** is ridiculous, they shouldnt force us to use authentication...

FYI something is definitely borked with training history. An alt is currently training Min Strat Cruise V. Last entry for training history is Min Strat Cruise III on 11/2. Another alt appears to be missing between 8 and 11 days of training based on last training item in history, current training item progress and EveMon's expected progress when I first started it up so the actually training queue may be messed up as well.

Bug reports submitted from both accounts.
