If I am not mistaken, with the wide-ranging changes of Ascension comes the ability of alpha clones to post in all subforums. I have seen little discussion of this so I decided why not make a thread? With no barrier to entry, there could very well be a significant drop in the post quality around here so prepare yourself.

On the plus side, various names from the past might be enabled by the alpha state to make an appearance. Are there any long-gone Eve players that you hope will drop by and say hello?

I was wondering about that. If Alphas get full forum access, we'll see a lot of whinging about the game being unfair, ganking being too easy, PLEX being too expensive, Eve being nothing like WoW and lots of "solutions" to percieved problems with the game. Now that I'm reading what I just wrote, it doesn't sound like there will be much of a difference after all. Move along, nothing to see here.

Except that there is not 'a lot' of such threads currently....

One could calculate the percentage of characters replaced with asterisks by the profanity filter for an early study. Although this is a really low level approach, I would've liked a graph of this number over time with the dates of watch list removal and alpha clone introduction as vertical lines. I don't really think there would be anything to see on this graph, just curious.
