Anyway to make the launcher automaticly close after I start the game?

Well as the topic suggests I was wondering if there is any way that I can make the launcher automatically close after I start/log in to the game. I did not see any way to do it with in the new launcher settings menu.

It would appear they have meshed the launcher in with the client now making that impossible.

I play on Linux and up until about two weeks ago I was still using the old launcher. There was a patch and the old launcher still updated my client but they had removed the play button so that I could not login to the game.

My guess would be that the new launcher is somehow tied into alpha clones. However that is pure speculation .

Play in windowed mode and just click and close it.

There was an issue a while ago that caused system resource hogging when the launcher was left open. I got in the habit of closing the launcher as soon as my account name turned green (means it has launched in the background even if it hasn't visibly loaded). To this day it's a habit of mine.

You can alt-tab out of a fullscreen application also...
