I am running two or three windowed clients, and when I tab or even click to another, my mouse draws boxes in space for target locking, as if i was holding CTRL, rather than spinning my view in space.

It happens moving between any client to any client, and I have changed my keyboard.

I have no devices pretending to be keyboards, and it only happens about half the time.

It can kick in part way through an eve session, and pressing CTRL once when focussed on a bugged client makes it stop - until I switch clients again.

This is infuriating as it stops me from being able to effectively multibox PVP any more.

I have encountered this issue on and off a few days at a time over the last few months.

Additionally, as an example of other phantom keypresses:

I tabbed to one client and pressed the align button on the overview. My ship immediately started to warp - this happens repeatedly, always at the same time as the initial problem.

bump: It's happening again at the moment. Additionally, I tab in to the client, click any item on my overview... and a show info box appears just from clicking on it

Had some similar issues. Particularly the drag box showing up and causing hassle when switching between clients. Do you have any programmable devices that might be sending repeating keypresses? My targeting key was accidentally set to repeat when held on my programable keypad and switching it back to normal keypress operation seems to have gotten rid of the problem. Eve seems to get confused if you throw too many keypresses at it and starts assuming the key is still being pressed when it isnt particularly if you switch clients while it is recieving a key input.
