Can't select character on character select screen since 11/1/16 patch

Since downloading the 11/1/16 patch, I have not been able to select a character on the character select screen. Only 1 of 3 character portraits appears on the screen, and none of the information usually below the portraits is present (e.g. skill points, ISK, current ship). Any suggestions to fix this? Have restarted client and computer.

I fixed it using the tool to verify the game files - had 2 corrupt files.

I am having the same problem. What/where is this tool that I need to use to verify the game files?

Since I had a related issue and I finally found how to run the verify....

On the launcher, click the setting icon.
Once that comes up, click shared cache settings
On the dialog that now comes up, there is the magical verify button. (it worked for me)
