We gladly present you EVE-Prism - tool for gathering and analyzing information intended for PvP-oriented players who always lack intel.

www.eve-prism.com

Or just a thing that you can put on a screen as a decoration - it’s up to you ;)

But if a decoration is not enough for you, you can always get more information by entering a mask 256 API key which will allow us access to your kill log. If it is also not enough, you can enter a CEO-level API, which will give you access to corp-level intel (currently under development).

Aside from an API key there is a minimum requirement on a number of kills that determines whether you will be granted a higher access level or not. It is 20 kills per month for individual pilots and 50 kills per month for corporations.

Levels of access:

- No API, no kills- unauthorized guest, no detail, just general info
- Has API, does not meet minimum kill requirements - authorized, can access detailed data on user’s own character
- Has API, meets minimum kill requirements - authorized, can access detailed data on user’s own character and as well as all other characters
- Has CEO-level API, does not meet minimum kill requirements - authorized, can access detailed data on user’s own character and corporation
- Has CEO-level API, meets minimum kill requirements - authorized, can access detailed data on user’s own character and corporation as well as all other characters and corporations.

These restrictions are required to, on one hand, reduce server load (many of the analytical processes can be quite heavy), and on the the other - to give the players an additional motif to do PvP. In fact you get access levels at the cost of your activity.

If you will try to enter an API key that has more data than required (anything other that kill log) it will be rejected. Only mask 256 is valid. It is made in order that in case we will get hacked the hacker won’t get anything useful out of it. We don’t even have passwords - we use API for that ;)

Although we made sure that this tool will be useful even without an API.

You can find a detailed description of all functions this tool has in a small 76-page document that you can find on the site itself (in “Documentation” section).

We hope that you will find this tool useful.

We are not represented in any of the social networks as we don’t find them useful for the further development of our project. As we don’t sell anything we also do not really care about the amount of users we’ll get. We just like smart people and we want to provide them with more opportunities. And finally I would like to remind you one more time that we don’t sell anything, don’t put up advertisements and don’t track users’ actions as well don’t store their personal information and data.

So how the hell do i actually input api info? I click login and put in my api but it just says 'invalid user api key' even though its an access mask 256 and i even tried with an api with everything on it...

Is there some page where you can register and api or something? If so it don't see it

Also when you click on a character it opens to link to it twice, so that needs fixing.

Most of reported bugs are fixed.

- API auth bug - is fixed - now it accepts account`s 256 API key as well as character`s 256 API key.
- two tab(window) bug after clicking on 4-way suggestion is fixed
- language bug after API login is fixed, now system will remember your browser language and save it to your profile, language in profile ignores your browser language priority
- minor UI fixes
- We are increasing the number of filters avalible for PvP-active users up to 3

This tool looks way more impressive than it was. At least visually ;-p

Still would be good to have
1. Authorization link/button on the root page (ie more noticeable one)
2. Downladable PDF version of the docs
3. Crash-course jump-in tutorial

A bug report (consider it as a free thread bump):

1. Go to http://eve-prism.com/?view=related&id=58200cedd08d15ca9f75d941
2. Press 'Summary'
3. Press 'Killlog'

Take a look at the fight duration:

Quote:

Beginning: 07.11.2016, 05:51:44. Completion: . Duration: -24641571m. Ships: 2pc. Ships lost: 1pc. Mass lost: 0.99Mt.

Here's an update on bugs and problems discovered during first phase of the beta test for http://eve-prism.com/, the new tool that we introduced to you some time ago

Bugs:
- The bug with the error that sometimes appeared on login (system not accepting APIs) has been fixed
- The bug with CEO not being able to view details on other corporations until assigned himself as his corp tactician has been fixed.

Thanks to w1ndstrike’s advice (we really appreciate his suggestions that were both interesting and helpful):

Start page:
- List on the upper right is automatically sorted by time (latest kills are shown at the bottom)
- Added map popping at mouseover showing the location of the event (in the same list on the upper right)
- You now can turn off news display on the main page in you profile
- Region of the event was added to the information displayed at mouseover

General:
Changes in abbreviations:

ECM=>EWR
DST=>DD/T3D
INC=>CEP
T3=>T3C

New features for the CEO-mode:
- Corporation’s activity is now sorted by systems
- Relations to other organizations based on the amount of joint episodes (most ~valuable allies~)
- The ability of the corporation to field doctrine ships (the amount of pilots that are able to fly certain doctrine based on the intel for the last 90 days)

Thanks for your feedback! We are reading all your answers and mails and will continue trying to make the system more comfortable for you to use.

0. Trying to localise reported problem whith the killlog.
1. We'll think about that
2. Yeah, we are working on it
3. Documentation IS a jump-in tutorial. The true capabilities of this tool is up to you to discover ;) But... ok. Here is the basic list of the tool's features:

1. Home page
Shows current PvP situation in EvE via kill feed on the left, showing place and time of the event as well as the parties involved. In your profile you can adjust filters, so the events of your interest (involving certain number of pilots in fleet/area/alliance etc) will pop up in the centre and then move to the right up column (it is possible to turn on sound for the notifications). You can get detailed information on the events stored in the right column by clicking on them. If no filters are active or you are not logged in pop-ups will be random and serve only decorative purposes. Graphs and numbers in the lower right corner show current server online, countdown for the next server shutdown, overall stats on PvP activity, number of new characters created and some other stuff (detailed explanation can be found in documentation). And finally in the centre of the screen there is a search field that can be used to search for pilots, corporations, alliances and systems.

2. Pilot page
Information about an individual pilot. Other than kill feed shows things such as sec status, areas of activity (high/low/null/wh), K\D ratio, mass balance, solo/group ratio, cyno indicators etc. In “Details” tab you (surprise!) can find more detailed information, such as regions that the pilot is active in, fittings he uses, his estimated monthly budget, time zone etc. There are also special marks, such as awoxing for example.

3. Corporation page
In many ways is similar to pilot page, with the addition of PvP ratings for it’s pilots. “Details” tab is currently under development and for now the only things you can find there are fittings uses by the corporation, command-suitability (see glossary) rating for it’s pilots, area of corporation actyvity by systems, alyes and enemys organisations.

4. Alliance page
Features the same things corporation page does, but lists corporations instead of characters. “Details” tab is non-existent for now (sadly)

5. System page
Shows what alliance controls the system, organizations that are most active there, route to nearest trade hub and standard activity graphs (gate jumps, NPC killed, ships and pods lost). In different tabs you can finds fleets last seen active in this system, their compositions and victims. “Structures” tab shows structure, deployable equipment and fighter kills.

6. Fitting tool
A tool for searching for specific fittings with wide variety of settings. Can search for both PvP and PvE fittings. Can sort fittings by the effectiveness of the pilots they are used by. You can choose areas/fleet size/cost/exclude or include specific modules etc for the fitting you are searching for.

7. Related
Yes we do have one ;) Features up to 3 sides, timelines, ship types, graphs, analysyses and other cool stuff. Can be accessed by clicking on a “summary” tab (right up) in any kill report on EvE-Prism (if you have trouble finding the kill on prism, you can put a link to zkb into the search field on the home page)

8. Fleet optimizer
This feature is currently accessible only to corporation tacticians (this role can be assigned by the user that entered the CEO API for your corporation. It can be assigned to any member of your corporation).
This tool can help you get your fleet ready for a fight/roam. Serves the purpose of optimizing your fleet composition based on previous PvP-activity of it’s members. Gives FC data on what and how well can members of his fleet pilot, so that he doesn’t have to waste his time asking a 100 times “who can do a ceptor” etc.
Warning: some errors may occur due to use of skill injectors/extractors

9. Operative report
This page shows most PvP active systems in EvE - low and null entrances. Also shows prediction for +1 and +2 hours for low sec ones, top-100 most active systems for the last 90 days with their current activity and 10 fleets last seen active. There is a tool for setting a destination that can be adjusted for your liking (activity, sec status and such).

This is a pretty cool tool but logging in with the API key is cumbersome, can you add SSO too?

Greetings capsuleers! We’ve recently added some new features and a whole new tool to eve-prism.com

Features:

Alpha clones

- We are making an attempt to identify alpha clones based on character’s PvP activity. All characters are considered alpha by default until their kills or losses prove otherwise (that also makes all characters with no PvP activity for the last month an alpha). “Black” alpha is a character without PvP activity and “blue” alpha is a character who is PvP active, but uses only equipment available to alphas.

- Data on alpha clones is summed up as a part of the diagram in the widget on the corporation page (personnel section)

We tried (as usual) to make reasonable assumptions based on objective data. The chance of those assumptions being correct is pretty high, but not 100%. Just more information for you to make use of.

Details on corporations

1. Recruitment history

Shows where people came from and where they went, shows a graph of this process. You can see who left and who stayed and can be sorted by different parameters. You can, for example, see, who of those who left was more valuable to corporation in terms of PvP and try to guess the reasons he did so. For now corporation transfer is tracked via first kill/loss as a member of new corporation. But that is to be improved in the future.

On mouseover you can see data on character’s membership in top-5 current rival alliances.

2. Corporation’s PVP doctrines

Shows ships that members of the corporation (active in the last 90 days) are able to fly, max number of pilots flying the same ship on one killmail, overall number of killmails made with this ship and the number of active members able to fly said ship. The data on ability to fly the ship is based on killmail data. This allows to estimate what numbers and doctrines the corporation is able to field.

3. Corporation’s economy

This one is kind of experimental. Here we sum up all corporation’s expenses (losses) + subscription plex and show it as a graph. Later we’ll try to estimate average isk per hour. The second graph shows fluctuations in corporation’s security status. Basically it displays the cycle of fighting and ratting (and it’s intensity). With little thought it can serve as a really valuable source of information.
Warning: this page may take time to load, as the server has to go through huge amounts of data.

“Locator” tool

It’s pretty simple and works kind of similar to PLH. On first open it shows current in-game PvP-activity:

Current situation in top-100 PvP systems (can be sorted by clicking on headline)
A list of fleets last seen active with details on them
Areas to put data in

So you copy-paste local into the first field, copy-paste members of your fleet into another (to exclude them) => press the button => get a list of characters sorted by their PvP activity (you can also sort them yourself by clicking on the columns’ headlines). So for example if there is ceptor from a fleet in local, and that fleet has already killed someone today - it will be shown along with the list of fleet’s members and the location of their last kill on the system map.

The development process is slowly coming to an end. Only things we are currently planning to add are “comparison tool” and “estimated relationships”. Both will be available to CEOs and corporation tacticians. We are pretty much finished with characters. The only thing we might add is a filter for solo kills and things like value/size/period etc.

About SSO that we’ve been asked about several times:

Due to some reasons it won’t be supported until won’t turn off xml and API in favor of ESI once and for all. Not because we can’t: as you may have noticed from the website, at least some of us have more or less decent programming skills. So you can trust us that our reasons for not including it are something more than being lazy or willing to annoy you with uncomfortable log in process ;)
