Drone Overview Window Bug

I can't be the first to report this, but when is the drone overview window bug going to be addressed??

When you have drones in space, sometimes when you recall them or do anything with them the drone overview window gets bugged out where it doesn't list the proper drones in space or doesn't remove them when you bring them back into the bay.

I've found that this is getting more and more frequent for some reason.

The only way to fix this issue is to dock up or log off.

This causes a huge issue since you don't know the health of your drones nor can you launch them again without having to go into your inventory which during a fight causes a lot of problems.

Like I said in the beginning, I can't be the first one reporting this problem since everyone I play with who uses drones has this problem.

Seriously no one else has a comment to this? It happens to every single player I've talked too or fleeted with.

This thing happens to me too. I have to redock so the window can "repair" itself.

What is weird is that the drones you had in space you can relaunch and they are visible, but others are not. As if UI remembers only that they are in space and fails to acknowledge the situation is changing.

I remember this bug happened some time ago and was repaired or something because I had not this issue for a long time, just fairly recently.

I have the same issue and so does probably everyone else. The only problem is that drones are CCPs red-headed step-child. They broke drones a long time ago and never bothered to fix them. This bug has been in the client since 2013 and it still hasn't been fixed. Guess why...

I have the same issue and have logged a ticket for it. So has some of our corp members. The only thing that 'fixes' it is to dock and exit again. SO SO SO annoying.

Just confirmed with a corpie that his ticket about it has been open for a month now without even a reply from CCP

I made a topic about this too. When ever a drone gets the last unit of ice/ore in an anomaly, the drone bugs out, and becomes unresponsive. The drone window just gets stuck showing the drone is returning.

I'm having a similar problem as well and a few of my friends too

do you make drone group folders

I have the same issue only win I have multiple folders and I have no drones outside of a folder
when I put them into space and call them back the folder is broken tell I go back to a space station or relog

yeah i had this, eve is becoming more buggy all the time, they need to completely move the game to a new engine in my opinion, all this band aiding is just slapping a plaster on a bullet wound

Yeah it seems to happening to everybody, including me. Dunno when CCP is gonna fix it.

This bug is extremely annoying. It happens a lot when mining drones are out. rats spawn, You try to recall your mining drones so you can launch combat drones. What happens is the drones stay in "returning" state even once they are in your drone bay. You can't launch your combat drones at all then. You can to log off or dock to fix it.

Seeing the same problem here on 3 different characters.

I cannot be certain, but I suspect it is also causing an issue when drones are taking damage - I'll warp into a site, deploy the drones as passive. The rats will start shooting them and i'll get no change in shield state until I pull them back into the drone bay.

I see this bug every time I play. You can still launch drones from the drone bay window, but the drone control window becomes somewhat useless.

Not always.

If you have two groups of drones, say 5 combat and then 5 salvage, you have the salvage drones out and recall them, you won't get your salvage group back in the bay.

You have to warp off to station, dock and undock to get them back.

It looks just like sloppy housekeeping of the drone window data.

I have the same issue but I have found that if I open the ships cargo hold and then click the drone bay, while I'm still in space, the drones show up in the drone bay and I can drag the group out into space to relaunch them.

Sometimes that works, but is definitely not a fix.

Stil i had the issue my excavation drones dont show in the drone bay afther i call them back.
I have to eject from my ship or dockup to fix it Question

Ejecting from a 12 bil value ship is not THE best option Evil
A corpmember did this and could not get back in his ship AttentionAttention
