I've noticed for the last year or so since switching to the Linux version that, when mining in a belt, you can see thousands of fragments of tiny rocks which can't be targeted. I've always been curious what they are. My favorite theory is that they are graphical artifacts of every asteroid which has ever spawned on the belt. Does anyone know?

That's just a graphical change CCP did awhile back and is definitely not related to Linux.

It's eyecandy. Just random debris floating around. Definitely working as intended.
