Chribba was also the original owner and didn't buy it through a contract though.

Chribba is also a bit of a special case, as I recall there was a pretty big petition back in the day to allow the Veldnaught to stay in Amarr.

As posted the sale is against policy but as the receiver you might get a little sway if you claim was unaware.

As for having a LIF in highsec which is a relatively new ship-type and somewhat odd (i.e. how was it recently built and/or transferred) the answer is quite easy.

When FAXs were introduced any carrier with a triage module fitted was converted to the FAX racial equivalent on patchday.... I;m assuming this was a Nid in a previous life.

Not saying that's definitely case but it is the most probable... I bet the owner didnt even know :p

Had a reimbursed capital placed in hi sec around 12 months ago. Could be the explanation.
