Leadership Skills Obsolete?

With the removal of fleet hierarchy, and the bonuses associated with them (passive or active), it seems that the traditional fleet command skills (Leadership > Wing Command > Fleet Command) are now obsolete.

In my opinion, we should simply boil these skills down to the Leadership skill. I doubt many pilots would be terribly enthusiastic about training for several months just for the ability to warp fleets, when you could do so regardless.

They are not obsolete, they received completely different bonuses in return that are very useful for anyone leading fleets. And no, you're not getting them refunded.

First, they are right. CCP spelled it out clear as noon day with no clouds in the sky about how the skills were being redone and no longer effected the number of F1 chimps your fleet can field with boost. Now your chimps will need to learn to fly as well as press F1, all while staying as close to the booster ship(s) as a mallard duck to a females back end.

It is all in a dev blog which as I am laying in bed and smashing little keys on my iPhone I am to lazy to go and find for you. But SP will not be refunded. Though I believe players should be accountable for their skill choices and not the whims of development. Sadly I don't have the real world sssets or a Super to take to Iceland and buy their number one export. So, get used to change and carry some KY jelly

Maybe if you could get Concord to write your forum posts for you (you know, in addition to scoring all of your kills for you), you wouldn't have this problem.
