scooping from freighter wrecks

can freighters scoop from other freighter wrecks? Otherwise what happens to oversize cargo?

Please only reply if you know the answer for sure by trying yourself.

With patches constantly changing things, if you really want to make sure then pop onto the test server, blow up a couple and test it.

If your worried about the time it would take to destroy a few freighters then just warp to the frigate FFA - there's usually a few caps there!

Since a few years ago freighters (and jump ones as well) can scoop loot from freighter and jump freighter wrecks and access storages at pos towers if the tower is online. So the answer is "yes".

If wreck contains more loot that would fit into a single jetcan (27.5k m³) you won't be able to salvage the wreck until it has been emptied (you'd get a popup saying this upon attempt of salvaging).
