I notice in game that its easy to find the real date but i could not located the YC date. S

The in game calander should be YC date, the characters birth date in game should also be in YC date. You can keep the real date in the account settings but i find certain parts of the game more difficult when trying to convert real date to YC date and it would just be nice if it was easly displayed. Not to mention that the in game server time display is for the server, so it makes sense the date would also be based on in game date.

What parts of the game do you find more difficult when you don't know what year it is in game?

well right now the boosters experation date comes to mind. also some of the events are given with a YC date, leaving some vaugness considering how its not easly accessable in game.

The cerebral accelerators expiry is in real time in both the countdown and in attributes...

A lot more players want to know the year a character was created because its uses include gauging a players sp amount and experience in the game. Using the calender with the actual dates on makes it easier for people to organise as well.

Practicality takes precedent over role play. But the in game year could be in brackets or something next to it.
