I am very happy with my Moa I have done lvl 3 missions and other combat sites, I know the bonuses on the Eagle make it attractive I am a few days away from tech II hybrid turrets and am wondering if you found the Eagle worth the price difference, I feel like I would miss the drone help.

I can assure you, you won't need the drones on an Eagle. The active tanked one will be amazing and the blaster is even good enough for DED complexes and level 4's.

With null M you can kite at 20km and 400-something deeps. Just don't try to shoot a Curse.

Thanks, I was on the test server and was having little difficulties with one frigate that got under my tracking, tried webbing, no, then tried MWD, that did the trick, although kinda scary if you get webbed and scramed at the same time, what would you do?

I know the text says "warp scramble attempt", but I don't think any mission NPCs actually scramble. I might be wrong, but I think they only warp disrupt. So, MWD should always work.

Humm, all this time in this game and never considered that, thanks I'll look into it.

There are a few missions that do not allow micro warp drives to be used. So keep that in mind.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

If you follow my guide and make a standard pvp fit, you can use 2x stasis webbifiers. It's just pve, you won't need a scram.

And to be honest, I would use blasters instead of railguns since you can use an mwd to burn to battleship NPCs rather quickly.

So I bought an Eagle off the contracts (fitted with T-2 rigs), took it out for a spin, loved it, can't wait till I can use T-2 guns for it, wouldn't mind blasters but I can't seem to range correctly, even when I follow the guide on the screen, I just can't put enough DPS compared with rails, I know I'm fitted good, seems to be my tracking is off.

Oh, and which ones might those be? Last I checked, CCP removed the MWD restrictions from missions and complexes some time ago.

Also, Eagle's an interesting choice. Great range and pretty solid tank. Definitely an upgrade from the Moa, especially with T2 guns. Damage might be a little low for taking it on anything bigger than L3's, but it's definitely doable.

Blaster Eagles (a.k.a. Beagles) are great, but without being able to use Null ammo (i.e. T2 blasters), you will be moving around a lot to hit targets and you will have to pay much more attention to tracking due to the shorter ranges. Null lets you be lazy.

You will absolutely want at least one web on a Beagle (or any blaster boat really), preferably two if you can spare the slots. If your target is moving at full speed, you will have a hard time applying damage at those ranges, especially if they're frigates. This is less of an issue if you can use Null since you can hit out past web range anyways.
