5 days ago it started, an Serpentis Hecate class tactical destroyer named ‘Doom’ started raiding our ships. First of he blasted a scout out of the sky. Followed by annihilating the Orthrus class ‘Honast’. He even managed to destroy the escape pods. Today we can we should get our revenge. After killing our ships 5 days ago in Iralaja In the Inolari constellation in the Black Rise region he just vanished of our radar. Luckily we managed to get him back on when he made an appearance in Grispire in the Josmaert constellation of the Placid region. Immediately 2 scouts were send to find more about this ships whereabouts. Both got destroyed yesterday without being able to relay any information back. Now we are send by Mordu to get revenge and put this rampaging beast down.

‘’Holy Scriptures! The Serpentis guys were not lying about them also having problems with this guy. So many Serpentis wrecks all over the system, it looks like they send a whole fleet to stop him. Start moving around.’’

How could he have done so much alone? This is not supposed to be possible. The Serpentis are not all that good in fighting but even they should have been able to eliminate an Hecate class tactical destroyer.
Look like we are about to go out of warp. Time to search for this bastard and crush him.

‘’Sir!’’ Pakar screamed ‘’Doom is already waiting here for us!’’
‘’What that is impossible! Get ready on your stations, this will be a hard nut to crack!’’

‘’Lock him up and start firing he will not take down the ‘Caliban’. Pakar, give me a ship assessment.’’
‘’Roger sir, he has Neutron Blasters fitted and appears to use nanite bots to repair his hull.’’
‘’What! Neutron Blaster on an Hecate hull? Is he insane, that will leave him defenceless. Hmm, well he will pack a punch then. But we should be able to easily blow it to smithereens since he should not have room for any significant hull.’’
‘’Doom has started pounding on us sir, our shields are still holding steady.’’
‘’Good, fire away the missiles I want to see him go down fast’’

Who would have thought I would have a Minmatar first Lieutenant whom I actually trust. Two years ago I was still a member on the Imperial Court. Right under Her Majesty Empress Jamyl. I must forgive her for trying to kill me because I am sure she did that while she was having one of her … moments. Luckily I got a second chance, managed to escape. After long searching I finally found the HQ of Mordu. He did not care what I had done or who I was. He just accepted me for what I could and was willing to do. I had a hard time learning that Minmatarians could be trusted, but I guess they felt the same way about me.

‘’Sir, we are having a very hard time hitting Doom. He keeps avoiding our missiles.’’
‘’Use our Stasis Webifier on him, that should make things easier.’’
‘’Roger that, sir’’

‘’The Statis Webifier is working sir, but it is still very hard hitting him, he is so agile.’’
‘’Hmm, ditch those Cruise missiles, reload for Torpedo missiles, see how well he holds up to those.’’
‘’Shields are at 80% sir, it seems as he might be actually able to break us in time.’’
‘’Let us not give him that time. Keep on firing!’’

How is he doing that? We brought the biggest and strongest Mordu’s Legion has to offer. A Barghest class Battleship equipped with the strongest shield configuration possible. An Hecate class tactical destroyer should not be able to dish out his much damage. Could it be that this pilot is a capsuleer?

‘’60% shields sir, the Torpedo missiles and the Statis Webifier are having barely any effect. Doom actually seems like to be playing with us. He is letting us breach his hull a bit before actually sending out the nanite bots to repair the hull to full again.’’
‘’What, how does he dare being that arrogant. He must pay for this outrage.’’

It must be a capsuleer, only they are this arrogant and might be able to pull this off. Probably jacked up with implants as well. Sometimes I wonder whether God wanted there to be capsuleers. Then again, I heard rumours the late Empress Jamyl might have been one as well, could it be that she was so strong because of that?
