With future in game changes - some short term (next month) and some longer term (Tower to Citadel), I have been looking for information on what will happen with existing BPO, BPC and Faction BPC but have not seen anything in the forums or announcements from CCP.

If I have missed similar discussions, or some announcements, I would be grateful if you could direct me, and if not is anyone aware of what will happen with these items? I understand the new 'burst' mod blueprints are available in game now, but what happens to the blueprints they seem to be replacing?

will the existing blueprints map to and transfer to new ones when they are released or will i need to buy a new set and research before the changeover? I do not wish to end up with 2 identical sets having spent a lot purchasing new ones!

I have asked a few times now, about towers and factories BPO's and BPC's - particularly faction BPC - previously, but no one seemed to have an idea what would happen with these until at least some of the new mechanics and mods were bedded in.

Is it not about time we were given at least some idea as to what impacts there are likely to be or at least what the current thinking in ccp circles are about this topic as the transition from towers to citadels and other Structures continues.

Am I the only one trying to second guess large scale industrial investments to be best prepared for future changes in mods and structures?

Surely not!!

Any help, advice or guidance - particularly from a CCP perspective on this one would be greatly appreciated.

The buyback program for POS was discussed briefly in the structures presentation at Fanfest. I doubt CCP have decided exactly how they intend to deal with this. There may be a few reassuring words during the structures presentation at Vegas but I doubt we'll get any detail before Fanfest next Spring. It's easy for them to reimburse the blueprint - somewhat more difficult to compensate for the value of any research done since that is often subjective.

I expect we'll hear the plans for Outpost prints at Vegas since you won't be able to deploy new ones - can't remember if the cut-off is November or December.

Command link modules/prints should convert to burst modules/prints - this is an easy 1 for 1 replacement. Blueprints for the burst charges are already available in game.
