Need help fitting an Ishtar for Serpentis Anoms and DEDS

As the title says, need help with fitting an Ishtar and also what level anoms and ded sites it can handle

Here is a T2 fit that tank 1264 DPS from Serpentis rats, if you need less tank drop a tank mod for another Drone Damage Amplifier II (tip of the day, keep a mobile depot with you and do this on field as needed).

If you need a MWD use a named enduring 10mn and change to a large faction cap battery, if you fit a faction cap battery you can keep a MWD/AB in cargo hauld and refit as you see fit on field.

Ishtar can tank a DED 10 plex but then DPS output is low , I'd run DED 8 and bellow in it (just remember to drop sentry drones and kill the webb towers asap when landing in stage).
If you get a bit of range you can refit on field to 4x T2 Done damage amps + a third T2 Omnidirectional Tracking Link or a few T2 Drone Navigation Computers and let the ogres or garde kill everything, 5X T2 ogre do about 800DPS with 4x damage mods.
Not sure if the lower DPS from Wasp drones overcome the resist difference on serpentis (55% vs 45%) but I always use Ogre, just a personal preference.

Anoms is not a problem, run all included sanctums with ease.

Do you even know that your Ishtar doesn't tank anything in that fit since your sentries are out of range for the Serpentis to cause them harm?

Against Serpentis I would even think that a small t2 rep is enough to tank a DED 5.


Just for the purpose of trying things out (was the reactive hardener) I put one t2 kinetic and a reactive hardener on a Deimos to try that in a room full of Guristas.
The reactive hardener shifted and I had 99% kinetic resist while I was sitting still with my mwd on. Every 5 minutes (no joke!) I would pulse one medium rep to "repair" my 400hp armor damage.

I strongly believe an un-regular pvp fit will do just fine.

No, a t2 small rep is not enough. A B-type medium rep combined with 2 hardeners is enough for the ded 5/10 serpentis.


And no again. A reactive hardener does NOT give that much resistances. It gives 60% at most against one damage type. 30% if there are two damage types

Yeah a shield tank will get you 1200 dps tank and even more with implants, plus extra drone damage. You also want to use Caldari drones, because Serpentis are weakest against kinetic.

Wrong again.

Ded Complexes aren't hard in an ishtar, that's true.

But you can't go afk in them. or you will lose your drones in seconds as they are often (all 20-60seconds depending on site) attacked. If you go afk you will lose your ship too with Artsnis tactic.

Why not Praetor II 5x for the Sansha one? Though in the Sansha 10/10 you may have trouble with the station, so you best orbit at 100 or 150.

I lose like 1 drone per week per3 ishtar accs with like 16h daily online, but if you say so, okay.

Rats in Ded complexes often have another AI than in anoms. They tend to change target more often and in some sites like blood raider 6/10 every few seconds.

not in case of ishtar or VNI particulary.
but if you are doing it in something like myrm or rattle, or whatever, you can ewar anythig (like wreck or container), or even target paint your own drone and it will solve all aggro problems.

I can't tell about a BS as i don't fly them.

But if you are in a cruiser the rats will go for your drones. Depending on the site you run. And they don't care about ewar at all ( tested i myself many times)

Btw: you can run all nearly all ded sites with an ishtar. The nullsec ones with dozens of bs just take a long time to complete.... Not worth it in my opinion. My prefered site is the blood raider 6/10. In low, not too long and good to great loot.
