I've got two Twitter accounts now and I used to think of it as a glorified RSS reader. I almost never tweet with my main/RL one, but I can see what's trending where I live IRL and if I wanna have something to say about it I can say something in 140 characters or less and include a pic, gif, poll- whatever and my audience could potentially be enormous.

Personally i could not care less 'what's trending' anywhere. I have my own interests instead.
Personally i don't care what others 'have to say about it' and i very rarely post in places outside of Eve forums.
