Hello C&P,

Some of you know who I am, some don't... its ok.

Let me introduce myself.

I am Barbie, of the Spaceship variant, Amarr Edition!

I am the "tritanium" scammer.

Every few years I host a Christmas X-Mas Gift Exchange in Amarr! This year I am expanding it to include any pilots in Eve-Online that would like to participate.

This is how it works:

You contract me ("Spaceship Barbie" or my Holding toon "Barbie Claws") any item(s) over 5million isk. On X-Mas 2016 I will log in, and re-contract out all the Presents.

The only requests for this Gift X-Change are:

NO JUNK! Give something you wouldn't mind getting. I will reject contracts with 5mil worth of trash in them.

High Sec Locations ONLY! (no islands please)



The gifts are already starting to come in from Amarr locals. If you want to get in on this Event this year, just follow the above points.

115 people participated last time, hopefully some of those people will pop in and endorse this.


Yes, I am aware I am a scammer requesting people blindly send me items on faith. Anyone that knows me, knows I can be trusted.

It was a clever leap from Valk's give away, but overall it's a fairly lame scam. Setting the bar low at 5 mil was also clever, but then again you lost me at 'no junk'.

I'd rate your scam a 2 for originality, 7 on timing, 5 (maybe 6) on the details, and (the big one) 0 for you choice of location. Put this on any forum but C&P. This forum section contains the folks that give girl scouts the spankings they deserve and still don't buy any cookies.

Feel free to analyze the heck out of it. This is not the first event I've thrown, this is just the first i posted online here. And its fitting in the C&P forum. Its a Scammer Hosted Gift X-Change.

To anyone concerned that my 2016 X-mas Gift Exchange is a EULA violation because of the upcoming Gambling Changes to the EULA on Nov 8th 2016:

I petitioned my Event, and it does not qualify as gambling under the new EULA, as it is not a "Game of chance held by a 3rd party"

There is no "risk, chance, gamble" its not a lotto, raffle, or anything like that.

Everyone who gives a present gets a present. There is no "chance" of getting a present. If you give one you get one.

I endorse this product and/or service.

TLDR its legit, until now you had to hang out in Amarr local to find out about it. So send Barbie that old bling mission cruiser collecting dust in your hanger bay.....you'll get something in return, altho no promises if it'll be worth as much......

Everything in EVE is a trap.

Scammers in Eve are quite often misunderstood.

Not going to post a wall of text highlighting why, but quite often what is taken away with one hand is in one manner or another, given back to the community with the other.

In light of this, willing to bet that anybody who plays Barbie's gift exchange will be pleasantly surprised at the outcome.

As of this writing I have received 25 Presents for the X-Mas Gift Exchange, and 2 death threats for posting Christmas stuff before Halloween. lol

Rather excessive, but I for one was saddened when Guy Fawkes and Halloween lost their valiant rearguard action against Christmas in October. :-/
