Singing for Isk!

Greetings fellow capsuleers!

Are you new to the game? Or maybe you're returning after being away for a while? Do you need a kick start for some Isk or Ships?
Maybe you just want some free isk? Then head over to the Singing for Isk channel ingame and send us your request!

Here's how it works:
In the channel is a list of 'donators' that will donate isk/ships to anyone who wishes to sing for the reward. You may or may not end up on youtube. You cannot request the specific reward, nor can you request the song. We will choose the song and the reward will be based accordingly. You may, however, specify if you wish to receive Isk, or a ship CLASS (ie: will sing for a battleship). Capitals will not be rewarded, and the ships will be unfit. Isk reward will not exceed 100mil (unless the donator is feeing extra generous that day).

Wish to become a donator? Join the channel ingame and speak with me, and I will add you to the list. I will also have a running list separate of the channel of donators, and the items they wish to donate, so I can recommend accordingly. Having just returned to eve, I do not have the ability to become a donator right away; however once my funds start rolling in again I will add myself to the list of donators.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

I sincerely hope this isn't a scam, because this has awesome entertainment potential.

Definitely not a scam. This is a legit project. I mean, even if it was a scam, who would really be scammed? You sing, we give you a reward. Plain and simple.

I really hope this picks up. The entertainment factor is outstanding. Even a youtube channel for Eve Singing is a possibility. Who knows, maybe someone will go viral for being such a terrible singer :) OR even such a good singer they get offers from some underground label, who knows.

Donators can be scammed in that you won't provide them with the entertainment and singers in that you won't pay them. As I said I hope it isn't a scam, since I too see the potential this could have, if you get over the rough patches in the beginning and get it going. Once you have some satisfied customers and donators, with recordings to advertice the service things should start to get a bit smoother.

As said good luck with the project and I hope to hear from it again. Smile

Thanks! I'm still working on finding donators. They do not have to give anyone any isk or ships or anything, they keep everything they have. Anyone that wishes to become a donator merely needs to join the channel and ask to be added to the donators list, so singers know who to ask for a song.

Once I get some donators (and as I stated, I will be on the donators list once I get my isk income situated again) I'll be posting demos on youtube, with permission. Once it starts to pick up, however, I will put a disclaimer in the MOTD stating that any song sung may be recorded to be posted to youtube.

It all hinges on desperate people willing to potentially humiliate themselves or who don't care.

You could advertise in rookie systems, preferably after you get them busted for boosters or something of the sort for singers, or maybe FW, also Jita. Maybe vOv

Sniff, Sniff Does anyone smell the scam here? What will happen is the singers will sing and be played because there is no ISK in fact the OP said he is broke all that awaits is only humiliation and tears. If anyone donates to the OP they are idiots who deserve to lose ISK. Brilliant idea and I hope some fall for it in game because it will be epic if they do. Your mistake was bringing it to forums to be disected.

Troll detected.

As I've stated in prior posts, no isk will be donated to me. Anyone on the donators list are merely people who wish to give rewards for anyone coming in to sing for the reward. There is no 'holding corp', there is no 'isk holder', nothing. Any reward will come out of the donators own wallet.
