I am Daisha Voluptia. I am Caldari, but for many years I fought in the crusade, in service to the Empire. I became faithful long before that, when I was shown His Light, and listened to His Word.

War will test anyone's faith. And indeed, I was tested. In my moments of darkness and despair I would pray to Him, to ask for the strength to continue on fighting, to continue to reclaim in His name.

Here you will find a poem I often recited on nights out patrolling the bleak lands.

"Somewhere Close"

Nothing but a memory that’s destined
I think of you in times that I’ve been desperate
Pulling through the tests and
Pushing through the wreckage to go
Somewhere close
Yeah, I think I need your protection
Through your love I need to feel you checking
I’m looking in your direction, anxious for your message to show
Somewhere close

To me
Close to me
So close that even if I was blind, I’d still see Your Light
So close that even your word whispered would boom, through the night

Faith was questioned, but I kept it
And in your light here I stand perfected
I’m used to flying reckless, through the skies out of control
Would you let me go?
Yeah, I think I need your protection
Through your love I need to feel you checking
I’m looking in your direction, anxious for your message to show
Somewhere close

To me
Close to me
So close that even if I was blind, I’d still see Your Light
So close that even your word whispered would boom, through the night
