Pardon, i forgot to introduce myself. I am Piz, and i like to gank ships.
I m the Sheriff of Starsystem Balle (which is Sweden a simular name for a "penis")
which i defend and maintain for James 315, the Savior of Highsec.
Usually i stay just there, because i am old and dont like to travel alot anymore.
I follow the Code., i fight for the Code., but i m no actual member for the Code Alliance.
But what about you, Miss Lan Wang, did you ever Praise James 315 and his idea for Highsec?

Quick question Piz -

If Ralph were to send you the +10M isk from when you requested his eye piece, you said he would be the owner of a Mining Permit.

However as quoted above, you are saying you are not part of Code., and therefore how can you issue said Mining Permit?

Miss Wang, you can call me a wannabe or whatever you like, we fight for a higher mission and i am immune to any
foul or offensive language. So lets take a deep breath together and analyse why you forgot such an important and elemental part of the game as the Halaima Code of Conduct.

I guess, the reason for this disease to forget about elemental things can be only excessive mining activities, which dulls the brain as alcoholics do. I am right Miner?

Any supporter of James 315 who flies a Bumping Stabber or a Ganking Catalyst may issue mining permits and collect tithe in the Saviour's name.

On behalf of the New Order, you're welcome!

Often unsung is the fact that the New Order's ubiquitous relevance in highsec brings relevance to every highsec citizen, no matter how low their status is. As a moon gains a bright shine from reflected sunlight, every highsec miner/hauler/mission runner/etc. gains relevance from NO's relevance.

To be sure, that relevance is unwelcome by some as it results in their loss of ship and pod. But ANY relevance is better than no relevance at all.

Praise James!

Hi Chiana, and thanks for your feedback.

You see, the Code is, undoubtedly, the most important, but by no means the only legal document in highsec. Judging by the time of your posts, chances are high that you come from either America or Australia, which makes it easier for you to understand the concept of common law. In the United States, you cannot say that you have studied the American constitution unless you have also studied the innumerable decisions of the Supreme Court. Likewise, not only does the Law of Highsec consist of the New Halaima Code of Conduct (the Constitution of Highsec, so to say), but also encompasses all the posts and articles of James 315 on www.minerbumping.com and third-party websites. The Saviour of Highsec has frequently codified (pun intended) various precedents set forth by our valiant Agents, which includes, but not limited to, prevention of autopiloting, decadent fitting, or, like in your case, hauling without a valid mining permit.

As for using profanity in local and in exchanges with our Agents, you are correct in mentioning that it is, indeed, a common feature among highsec miners. You should keep in mind, however, that by sticking to this way of communication you by default make yourself equal to that exact lowest denominator, which is why addressing the perpetrator as "miner" when asking him to calm down (as in "Miner, calm down") is recommended by the New Order Agents' SOP.

For further inquiries on the possibility of a reimbursement, you need to present your lossmail so that we all can figure out what actually happened.

I hope that this response has been able to clarify the fine points of the Code and will improve the enjoyability of your stay within the space of the New Order of Highsec.

Praise James!

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your illuminating post on the various sources governing your operations. I was led to believe there was only one, and as I am usually not a "highsec" dweller I was not aware of your organisation.
As for renumation I feel the powers that provide this forum frown upon the practice of posting lossmails. However I feel the need to stress that I was not "hauling" anything at the time of incident but rather endevoured to move an empty ship out of your system of contract. Regardless I will hopefully soon be able to leave this highsec space and will hopefully not require your services, or indeed be subject to your contracts, in the future.

Best regards,

I was led to believe there was one document, which was not updated and it didn't cover the situation at hand. Which was the whole point of the original message. Which, had you bother to read it in full, or even, as a worst case scenario, been able to read it at all, would hopefully had understood.

Pointing that I don't know how to read only points your own inability to see how frustrated you are with your loss.

Haulers, miners, mission runners all need permits.
Because no permit, no ship :)

Why else would you post about CODE. Other than because you're mad?
