Hello everyone,

So that nobody mistakes this as a communication of great importance, let me tell you straight up that I'm a newly graduated pilot out of Hedion University. As the corporate nametag suggests, my interest is with helping the Arek'Jaalan project. Since it will be a while before I can achieve much in space, I've dedicated these early days mostly to thought instead of action. That is what brings me here, to share four short "commentaries" related to the project. I humbly submit them for wider analysis. Input is welcome from all corners, not just within the project.

Individual articles are listed below. All of them can also be found in the "Commentary" section.

On claims of Sleeper/Jove Origin
On certainties and probabilities
On Sleepers and Infomorphs
On the value and role of Hilen Tukoss

Thank you for your time.

Okay, four quick responses:

1. I don't care how some people who don't talk to me and some other people who don't talk to me might be related.
2. Things that are real don't require belief as their truth can be observed plainly. If something requires belief, it must therefore be false.
3. I think there's a point where too much information is actually a barrier to understanding. For that reason we needn't be any more concerned with infomorphs than with your gossipy sister at that party last weekend.
4. 2950 ISK, and scientist, respectively. The CSPA didn't think he was a special unique snowflake and neither do I. He's just a scientist doing a job just like thousands of others in the galaxy and capsuleers should just leave him the hell alone so he can get on with it and stop trying to ride the gravy train.

1. I disagree on there being a capsuleer monopoly. Because you don't see Empire forces out in w-space does not mean they are not there. There may be some truth in that we're making an active trade out of it, but never assume the Empires don't have an interest in something. They always do. So do many other factions.

2. The only certainty we have is death. Although cloning technology has changed that. Still, capsuleers die. We're conveniently "reborn" (not to be confused with the Intaki meaning of the word) but we can still be permanently erased.

3. My knowledge here is not sufficient, but it sounds plausible.

4. The good Doctor is just one man, of course he'll only be doing one share of the work. He's doing what he has the access for, and while that may not be as actively visible as say, writing up a theory or investigating a site, he plays his part in the whole and is a vital connection. Would everything keep running were he removed from the equation? I believe so, although things would slow down, unless the gap his absence forms is bridged. And if he was more than he is? I believe he'd be helping more actively, yet also spurring us to go and do more for ourselves. I believe he realizes the important of testing everything rather than just accepting it as given.

-> There has been some discussion that the Sleepers are actually the Talocan, not the Jove. I don't have the exact background sources handy atm, but you'll want to check on this yourself anyway.

-> My only comment here is a warning - while its important to continue advancing the sciences, its equally important to make sure those changes are not overly abused. There are a string of examples of civilizations falling due to this as well. Our own society is more immune to this (I hope), but we still need to be vigilant.

-> The Sleepers did not invent VR and AI technologies, they go back to Terran times and the first computers (though in a more primitive form). Does that make the Terrans an Infomorph society as well? We just don't know, a lot of that information was lost. I could just as easily posit that the Sleepers were nothing more than 'data guardians,' a great Librarian society designed to preserve knowledge at all costs.

-> While Dr Tukoss may be a 'mere scientist' to some, I would put forth that his real role has been as a catalyst or rally point - both for the normal human and those of us that are capsule-bound. As Myrh has stated, A'J has a good chance of surviving the loss of its leader *knock plastic* but finding someone to fill his shoes would be interesting, to say the least.

And in the interest of disclosure: While I have no direct interest in A'J (I have indirect links through fellow alliance members), I still keep abreast of developments and forward them to old associates of mine (most of them are *not* capsule-bound).

I guess you have all of existence figured out then! No need to ask anymore questions because if it can't be seen plainly it must not be real! Nothing left unknown and invisible to discover in this infinity, time to move along to the next one!

Bhahahahah!!!!!!!

Oh my, what people pass for intelligence these days. I just don't know!

I don't have sufficient knowledge or information to comment on the theories or statements made. But I compliment Ms. Zaki on the graphic visual presentation of the articles. Nicely done in my opinion.

Thank you to those who provided considered responses. I've made an effort to reply, which can be found at the following pages:

1 of 3 - Response to Mikkel Lybecker
2 of 3 - Response to Myrhial Arkenath
3 of 3 - Response to Alain Kinsella

I will now ask the CRC to close this thread, so that things can be kept neat and clean. If you have any further comments, please use the "Comment" functionality on each post, or alternatively, get in touch with me directly via mail or private comms.

I aim to have a second series of commentaries completed in the near future, which I plan to share here as well. I hope that next time around participation can be even larger.

Thank you all once again.
