I was not watching resource prices carefully last Hulkageddon....

I have looked at a number of products on a the 12 month history, and did not see any resounding price increases, but my glance was far from comprehensive nor scientific.

What do the denizens of these forums remember/know?
Does Hulkageddon have a significant impact on min/ice based products, or is it just a blip on the radar?

Granted, in this particular case, historical data may be virtually useless if the Goons unleash some real cash and effort in this Hulkageddon, but I would still like to know what was the impact of past events.

Somewhat shonky memory here too, but from recollection the effect on mineral and ice prices generally goes unnoticed or is impossible to distinguish from regular market movements. Typically there's some short term spiking in barges/exhumers and the chosen tools of their destruction (eg Catalysts) but how much of the movement here is as a direct result and how much driven by speculation of a direct result is another matter - as the event has grown in popularity and general awareness the effect of speculation is arguably bigger.

Translation, if you're producing barges/exhumers/destroyers you may see a small bump in profits; if you see prices of barges/destroyers rising sharply and buy a ton of them at what would ordinarily be above market rates make sure you're not left holding them when the slump comes.

People discuss about Hulkageddon like the event organizator wasn't permanently banned.

Err, new Hulkageddon starts in 2-3 weeks if current Goon propaganda is to be believed. Goons are teaming up with Bosun, apparently.

Frankly, I have a hard time believing Goons can help out with a new attack on empire while fighting a war in Branch, but you never know.

Hulkageddon seems like a regular flavorless event now.
It should be changed up to a different target type
such as
T3s
Marauders
Logis
T2 frigs
give the annual ganking event some new excitement

The edge is REALLY hard to see at times but it DOES exist and in this case we were looking at a situation where a new feature created for all of our customers was being virtually curbstomped by five of them

I have to agree
effect is goons fly away in pods ..if they are lucky

no wonder Martini wanted to wait for Time dilation before going to war, ur so slow and stupid you need 'no child left behind' implemented in eve to win 2:1 fights :)

With the amount of resistance we've encountered in Branch we probably could do it in pods

time dilation hasn't been implemented yet so you'll have to try a different broken-english troll, sorry.
