Some thoughts about christmas....

If you can trust the media we do live in a time where it's absolutely normal to be afraid of terrorism, of hate and crime. Bombs are exploding, missiles raining from the sky and the fear of this chaos may lead to even further chaos. And on top of all this? The change of government went through the media as well and was one of the main topics this year. The new amarrian government. To make amarr great again.
Confusion and again - fear - were part of nearly every conversation i had after the election. And beside the fact that we are living 'the dream', in a world that is overall the best world mankind ever had, people are afraid. Yes, obviously there is a lot of bad stuff happening but just think back 100 years - think back about 200 years or 2000 years - the world improved. We did.

And although we are developing, we still have fear. Fear is powerfull and fear can make good people doing the wrong things. But what is this christmas time about? Rethink it. When the angels came to bethlehem, they clearly said "Dont be afraid". They said it 3 times: To mother Mary, to Joseph of Nazareth and in the last to the shepards. - Dont be afraid.
In a time where mankind was dangerous, raw and brutal. In a time where a little child was born, in danger, hunted by King Herodes. "Dont be afraid", the only thing that Maria and Josef needed. And they have done it. They were around the child. They protected it and although they had fear, they took care of the child.
Christmas is this time in the year where we should remember that having fear just leads to bad things but the will to go on, the will to stand against this fear is what leads forward.

Let us go into the future together, let's use this christmas time to make good and right decisions, to stand against fear together. And just like this little child made the hearts of his beloved ones strong, this is how Ish-Stars is going to make your corporation strong again. Let us be your angels, let us tell you to not be afraid. Just for a small fee we will stay on your side, protect your and love you like a mother loves her child. Just for a small fee we are willing to bring the spirit of christmas to you but the spirit of war to your foes.

Don't be afraid.

Thanks for the creativity +. I also do understand the - for the RL references. Tried to find sth inbetween too close to RL but also kinda make a bridge to some events people will recognize. Was a little proud that i could make a connection to the amarrian emperor-election this year and the trumpening. On the other hand i tried to find sth better than mary and joseph but on the other hand i was like "well it's something for chrsitmas. although there is no christianity in eve... if i write sth concerning christmas, why not bring the bible in. in the end christmas is a christian festival :-P ... but i understand the criticism.

there is not much activity in High-Sec, beside a few Poco-Bashes and around 10 Kills and 5 loses in the last 15 Days, much more activity in Nullsec and lowsec Space. I wouldnt call you guys HS-Mercs.
