RvB Hosts The Tyrian Trophy! December 3rd & 4th 2016

With the Alliance Tournament in October & EVE_NT going on through November, RvB is making its "Tyrian Trophy" Public for this Year.

We will now accept X-es from any band of capsuleers to participate in this event. Space is limited, so X-up soon!

Simply gather 5 friends & decide on a team name and captain. Then, Captains may X up here, or go to rvbeve.com & create a guest account, and X-up in the thread linked below. Teams will be set by 5 November and the event will take place on Saturday December 3rd and Sunday December 4th 2016.

The event will feature a 5 vs 5 AT style double elimination setup, with a point system used to determine fleet compositions.
Full rules and discussion are on our thread here. Rules may be discussed & modified up to 1 November 2016.


Rules & Information

So as to not discourage participation, no cost will be associated with participation other than supplying your chosen ships and fittings. Prizes will be announced at a later date with an edit of this OP and the rules and information thread at rvbeve.com

We have already had several teams X-up in private messages, names to be announced in 1 month!

Also

Our first donors have given RvB 2 Billion ISK!

That means the winner will take at least 1.25 bil,
Second Place is guaranteed 500 million,
and Third Place is guaranteed 250 million ISK in prizes!

And remember there is no cost to enter! Teams will be selected by the first week of November, so sign up soon!

Streamers will also likely be available, and channel information will be posted once confirmed!

Multiple AT teams already confirmed to be participating, along with new faces in the tournament scene!

Contact me if you would like to help with production and we can consider adding more teams, but are near our limit for a 2-day tourney.

The Event is now closed, thanks for all who signed up, we had to expand our brackets from 12 to 14, but couldn't handle the volunteer load needed to do 16 teams and add several more matches.

If you didn't make it in, look forward to RvB Spring Cup, or come out next year. We will likely do a 8 Team setup for Spring cup and Tyrian Trophy 2016.
