All the collateral for the bond returned in full.

I have finished the bond a few days early, so all of the 120b ISK principal has been transferred to Chribba and all the investors have been paid the final monthly interest for the January 2017.

Over the 4 months period, at 2% monthly interest, total of 9.6 billion ISK has been paid to the investors as interest.

I managed to log in today and pay out the interests for December 2016 period. I shall cash out on my investment over this month so I can return the full amount by Feb 01.

EDIT: Dec. 02 Update - After gathering the feedbacks from the Investors, to avoid practical issues with arranging for payments on Jan 1st, I have decided to officially extend the bond duration for another month - so the bond will now end on Feb 01, 2017, and full interest shall be paid for the month of January 2017.

However, since this makes the bond duration longer than originally agreed, I leave an option open for individuals to withdraw/cash out earlier. They will still get paid full interest up to December 2016, as has always been agreed for this bond, but they will forfeit the 'extra' interest for January by doing so.

From the feedbacks I have received, most seem happy to keep the investment running till Feb 01 and earn extra month's interest, and based on the feedbacks I think I have enough liquid ISK to quickly pay out a few individuals who may wish to withdraw earlier than that, so it will not be a concern.

I make this annoucement here for public record, and also for those investors who may check the forums more than their eve mail. ;)

Dear MD,

Toobo is excited to offer her first public bond. :D

1. The bond amount is 120 billion ISK in total

2. Minimum investment is 1 billion ISK

3. My collateral is evaluated by Chribba, and I have already contracted all the collateral assets to him.

4. The value of the bond follows Chribba’s independent evaluation of my collateral’s worth, with enough headroom to ensure that all the investors will be covered in full WITH interests on top, up to the month of the ‘default’

5. The interest rate is 2% monthly, and the duration of the bond is for 3 months (ending on December 31st, and the interest being paid on January 1st, 2017, latest)

6. Interest for each month will be paid in the 1st day of the following month (e.g. October interest will be paid on November 1st

7. If I foresee that I may have RL issues which may make it difficult for me to make the interest payment on the specified date, (e.g. I have a business trip scheduled and may not be able to log in to the client during travels), I can decide to pay the interest ‘early’ (as in 2~3 days earlier, etc) than the specified date, but the interest payment amount shall not be effected, and I shall not pay the interest 'later' than the specified date.

8. I reserve the right to end the bond early, by paying back the investors in full plus interests up to that month – the early payment date will not be relevant, I shall pay the full month’s interest for that month. E.g., if I end the bond in November 3rd, you still get the full month’s interest for November. So even if the bond ends in less than a month, you shall be guaranteed one full month's interest in any case.

9. My idea is to have the bond start on October 1st for easier calculations of interests. Even if the bond is filled before October 1st, I will ask Chribba not to release the fund to me before October 1st. This is so that we can avoid troublesome calculations for September’s interest, as there’s only 3 days left now.

10. You apply for the bond by posting here, stating the amount. I would really appreciate investing through posting in this thread rather than private eve-mail, for the maximum transparency.

11. When the 120b amount is filled in full, you send your investment ISK amount to Chribba upon official announcement that the bond has been filled in full and you can start sending ISK.

12. Once Chribba confirms the total amount and all the investors have sent the ISK to him, he will release the 120 billion ISK to me.


The bond will open officially with a confirming post of Chribba on this thread, but feel free to say “pledge 20b” (under condition that Chribba comes here to confirms it).

Chribba's still to post here yet we get lots of interests heh. \o/

I have more I can put down as collateral to increase the bond size, but as this is my first one and Chribba has already done his hard work to evaluate everything I don't want to change any structure at this moment.

I will make sure that this one pays out in time without a fail, and everyone will be happy. Then we can think some other stuff. :)
