Will Alpha State accounts be able to post/reply to official EvE forums

Then you are playing a different game than me. Anything prefaced with "EvE online is about" makes me go a big rubbery one. The only way to be "relevant" is in game. No one became relevant in the forums. Hell the forums themselves aren't relevant. I didn't even visit them for the first 3-5 years... because who cares? Make your mark in-game. Reddit isn't relevant either, but at least the nazi's aren't running it. There's good information there... and there's good info here too. EvE isn't a forum game, though. It's a spaceship game. If you aren't doing it from your spaceship you are not relevant.


Honestly ask yourself is your opinion worth the price of a sub. For some people it's not, but real life has taught me most people will want to be heard and if my or someone else's topic on the official forums rubs you the wrong way you're going to want to respond. Either to be funny, agree, or disagree. For CCP that's profit, I can't/won't blame them for charging people.

No one would use any internet forum if they didn't want to be heard.

Also notepad has a better format then reddit. Anytime I hear or see reddit I think welfare forum.

I actually don't care if anyone hears me. I think I have something to offer the bottom feeders of EvE with regards to streamlining their game... but whether or not anyone listens? Don't care at all. For me the forums are about learning the game (a constant process) and projecting where stuff is going. I don't need attention. I need spaceships and ISK. EvE is "about" a great many things, and it really depends on the player. If you just need to be heard or if this game is about ego for you, I don't even know what to tell you. Everyone has their own objectives. If I gave a snip about how people view me or who listens to me, man, I'd have a mess of a failed character at this point. As it is, I like where I'm at and I like where things have gone. I also have no idea how I will be playing 6 months from now. That's my game, and it rocks. Pirate

Also: Check out Notepad++, it's a way better Notepad than the MS garbage.

Um... maybe actually take that course? You clearly have not. I don't care if you hear me. I'm offering an unsolicited opinion because someone else might read this. I want EvE to get better, and I want to help out other players, despite the fact that I screw people over in game. No: I don't care if you listen. I will offer my opinion as I see fit. Feel free to ignore it.

Do you see my point though? I'm openly saying reddit users are sub human, which will most likely get them to respond, which equals them paying for a sub, which (hopefully) CCP will use that money to make the game better. In the end, everyone is heard, people get paid, game gets more popular, right? Back and forth banter to pass the time.
