T1 Cruiser fights are tough. All the T2 HAC and small gangs that you come across will blap it before the shield boosters have a chance to cycle once. A better fit would include a couple of Large Shield Expanders for a buffer.

Not in game right now so I can't link a fit. But give that idea a try.

Here's mine Blink Like the other guy said, it was hard to find a good fight. I went from Aeschee to Ishomilken to Ostingele and it was all links and blobs. Finally died to a 9v1 at a gate in the Seyllin pocket. They brought a Falcon just in case i could lock one of them
