Well... that didn't take long.

The issue is still there. I haven't encountered any significant lag after jumping yet, but the game certainly stalls for a few seconds when jumping into new systems and I feel that as I continue playing it will just increase in duration

yeah ive had times when the systems load up instantly but then the next jump i gotta wait for 6 minutes before i can do anything again

if i lose a ship while this is happening im going to petition the **** outta it

Still lagging, re-logging the client every 20m minutes isn't fun. We can haz fix CCP?

I just wanted to thank CCP for this prompt response to this issue.

WHAT THE **** IS YOUR MALFUNCTION CCP. FIX THIS ****.

I went through the extremely enjoyable reportabug process with screen shots and all kinds of fun stuff. There isn't any sort of response or indication it has even been looked at.

There is no hardware malfunction or mfg /brand for them to point the finger at and blame, its all on their end. Personally, I'm really having a great time not participating in the current nullsec war with my alliance since I can't move from one system to the next with any sort of reasonable expectation of success.

I've tried clearing the cache which seems to provide a temporary reprieve but doesn't fix the problem. This issue doesn't care if you're moving between systems in the same constellation or across a region, it will hit you anytime anywhere.

One thing that I have found that you can do is even though the zone hasn't loaded you can click on and activate your modules once your initial cloak wears off. I have been jumping into systems, landing blind with no idea what is there, hitting dscan at 360 degrees and praying. Also, manically clicking on my cloaking device so it comes on once my jump cloak times out.

The response to my bug-report was:

We are already aware of this problem, and have added your bugreport to the existing issue in our defect tracking system.

I just hope that this gets resolved fairly quickly as it is difficult to play the game and having to constantly re-log to avoid this issue.

I'm having this issue too. It's already messed me over once while running away from a chasing gang. I've reinstalled EVE and resetted all my settings and am still experiencing this problem every 2-3 jumps.

Operating System: Windows 7 Professions 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU, M 450 @ 2.40GHx (4 CPUs)
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

I'm not at all a hardware techie so if there is anything else needed then please ask.

Take a number bud...

There is a whole lot of people grounded because of this issue.

Put in a bug report and play a different game until this is resolved.

The patch today seemed to alleviate this issue for me somewhat, I played for a little under an hour and had a couple of jumps in which it took some time for the new zone to load up but nothing like that it had been.

Has anyone else noticed anything after today's patch?

Got same bug 3 weeks ago. Tryed everything: drivers, net Framework, last eve-client. After changing desktop configuration + new OS ...looks like its gone. No bug in 4 last days even on 2 clients (3-4 hour per day).

I`l try to collect all my changes to give you some solution (may help, but cant guarantee).

Guess the truth is in between. I used old client (before Crucible for a long time), then patched to Crucible 1.00, 1.01, 1.02 and haven`t bug like that. Two days after formatted hard-drive, downloaded eve-client Crucible 1.02 and got the problem.
A lot of people still playing eve without same bug and thats mean the problem is deeper.

For me it was resolved 4 days ago, but no idea what was the cure.

There is 7 steps from my old system to the new and some suggestions about possible weak points.

1. Hard-drive was formatted (not by fast-format)
2. Installed Win 7 Ultimate 64
3. Last Direct X
4. Crucible 1.03 client
5. Windows integrated video-drivers by nvidia, not the last one
6. Ageia Physx drivers
7. Microsoft visual c++ (not sure was it 2008 or 2010 edition).

Then i compared two dxdiag files: from the old system and the new one.

1. Driver Name: nvd3dum.dll,nvwgf2um.dll,nvwgf2um.dll ( OLD SYSTEM)
Driver Name: nvd3dumx.dll,nvd3dum,nvwgf2umx.dll, nvwgf2um (NEW SYSTEM)

2. Display Memory - 1648 MB; Dedicated Memory - 881 MB; Shared Memory - 767 MB - (OLD CONFIG.)

Display Memory - 366 MB; Dedicated Memory - 879 MB; Shared Memory - 3582 MB - (NEW CONFIG.)

The video-driver version was changed from 8.17.12.8562 to 8.15.11.8593

---(Another idea) ---Some files from Direct -x. video-card drivers or dll`s was not usable by old eve-client, but now are important for game stability. Or some files was corrupted after Crucible and must be re-placed, or the new one edition needed.
One more thing: shared memory (from 767 to 3582mb on my sys)

In any case i hope this information propbably can help CCP and players to find the global solution, because i resolved the problem not after the patch, but after ``big-change`` in my desktop.

posted my own experience in (http://failheap-challenge.com/showthread.php?5145-JUMP-LAG-FML-Halp-pls/page2)
I've been experiencing it since, maybe 3 client updates ago?

It's making the game borderline unplayable and i'd greatly appreciate official CCP acknowledgement of the issue.

NOTE
Housemate is playing eve on same connection and is NOT having this issue.

I'm having this problem too and it makes me sad Sad

After few hours of playing, jumping to another system result in general lag, broken warp effect, broken jumping sound and effect and other ships' position are incorrect and laggy. This is happening in random systems and / or not all the time.

Call me silly, but traveling is one of my favorite thing to watch in EVE and this lag is what makes me a really sad bunny indeed.

I discovered that lag for me appear only

- for 20 second after I jump to another system
- only if I change ship / or after I completed NPC mission
- travel more than 3 jumps from current no-lag location

Everything in terms of graphic seems to be extremely laggy during the lag, yet I have no problems with targeting, chatting or even warping out. One would say it could be a graphic glitch but I think it is really some kind of heavy-load problem on the server side.

So I stopped experiencing this. Stupid as it sounds, I can only think of two things that may have fixed it:

1) I am on Windows 7 but had deactivated all my fancy themes, using the Windows Classic theme, a week or so ago. Yesterday I reverted this and started using the standard Windows Aero interface once again. Voila, bug fixed.
2) Either the above fixed it or me restarting my computer to reactivate themes fixed it. Who knows.
