What about a Garmur or a Hawk? Been ages since I last flew a Hawk (don't know how you feel about KIN-only damage buffs) but it's a pretty solid boat from what I recall and the only time I've tried a Garmur for PVE was to run High Sec sites but it seemed to hold up just fine too.

i always used the worm for lvl 3's, then switched out to a vexor navy which worked a lot faster
