Finding players in FW plexes

Hi all,

I am concedering signing on to factional warfare and headed down to several systems last night to take a closer look. I jumped into several plexes but noone showed up. I just sat there waiting.

Do I have to be signed up to encounter other players in pvp in the complexes?

Where are the most active systems?

Black Rise and surrounding area is most active - and even some locals there now complain it's "quiet".

The AmarrMil vs MinMil zone is pretty much dead for FW skirmish - get mates and look for a long time (Kourm & Huola might have activity for you).

No you are not censored if you are not in FW, no "sign up" needed. They look the same in or out.


However, if you wanted to push sovereignty for a faction and generate content you might do well with Amarr who need pilots and a push.

Is there a particular reason why FW is kind of dead?

I had hoped this mechanics could provide some pvp fun and maybe content at a casual level.

Anyway thanks for the answer - I will head down to Black Rise and see whats going on.

FW is not dead. It is still much easier to find quick engagement in PLEXes, than in empty null gate.
Take a look at this

But FW has one more benefit, apart from quickier fight opportunities. It provides some sort of match making. Unique in whole eve. When you are in small or novice plex, you can not be ambushed by recon ship and usually you can choose, if you will fight that worm in your slasher or not.

Timing is a lot to do with finding fights. Eve is pretty EU heavy so you're gonna get the most content during that prime time

No, you don't.

Entry points such as Tama (it's camped, don't bother asking), Akidagi, Kinakka. Chokepoints and pipes such as Martoh, Reitsato, Kedama, Hikkoken, Pynekastoh, etc. Use your in-game map or dotlan to look for systems with kills in the past hour or 24 hours.

Come to Vlil. It and the surrounding systems have fights a plenty. Caldari Gallente Fac War. I will get multiple fights in an hour in US Timezone.

Targets are targets some people think. I guess if winning easily is a thing that keeps you interested in a game .. the new era will be perfect for you.

First 3 or 4 chars I found yesterday in plexes were 1 or 2 days old... And it was very first half of an hour... All spoke russian. I am afraid you are damn right here :( Of cause no fight - they simply ran.
