Capsuleer erection casts long shadow on Caldari Prime

News reaches Gutter Press, about disturbances on Luminaire VII (Caldari Prime), where recent construction efforts by Caldari capsuleer entrepreneurs have had several concerning effects.

Towering !

The recent construction of an Arcology, several km tall, intended to house Caldari citizens, has caused concern amongst other inhabitants, due to its menacing appearance, and thrusting intrusion into the aesthetics of the skyline.

"That tower blocks the early morning sunlight, meaning I can't sunbathe in the morning. Outrageous!", said one concerned Gallente socialite.
"Goodness, it's so tall, and thick", commented a Jin-Mei exotic dancer.
"This monstrous rod violates the skyline. I can't paint this !", complained an Intaki painter.

Intrusive !

In addition to the visual intrusion, numerous social problems have been reported across both Caldari and Gallente administered areas of the contested planet.

Gallente citizens claim that a "hostile atmosphere" towards Gallente residents in the Caldari administered areas, has led many to leave, with some taking up opportunities with Homeland Property Management, a Gallente-owned firm that is no stranger to controversy.

Meanwhile, Caldari citizens claim that a similar hostile atmosphere exists amongst some Gallente administered areas, with claims that because off-world Caldari entrepreneurs are investing in Caldari areas, then ethnic Caldari citizens should "go back to where they came from", and other inflammatory statements.

Tension !

Gutter Press agents spoke to a number of citizens in these troubled areas, to hear their concerns.
"Yeah, like, those Gallente aren't welcome round here no more. This is a Caldari area. For the State!", said one young Caldari hoodlum in a majority Caldari zone.
"Oh, Civire men are alright, for a bit of rough action, with their chiselled features. But I wouldn't want one as a neighbour.", said a Gallente exotic dance studio owner in a majority Gallente zone.

Friction !

The authorities on Luminaire VII (Caldari Prime), state that everything is "under control", and that "no significant disturbances" are occurring.

Bureaucracy !

Gutter Press will keep an eye on this situation, bringing the real truth of New Eden life to light.

Is there a place on Caldari Prime where you can sunbathe and get tanned instead of just, maybe, partially defrosted-- and then only if it's summer?

Maybe indoors, but-- even then, how do you get a tan without UV lamps? And then why would you need the sun?

(Also, I can't tell whether it's ironic that this article is being brought to us by the same civilization that gave us the Thorax, or not.)

Why, there's plenty of places. If your definition of tan is "not pure white", that is.

I dont know why someone would sunbathe. Ice cold spring water is all you need for bath.

Some plant sap increases the skin's sensitivity to UV. Possibly special tanning lotions tailored to the climate of Caldari Prime use such plant extracts to allow tanning in relatively inclement weather.

Also, lenses. Colossal lenses that you bathe under.

Gallenteans are occupants on Caldari Prime and have no say in what we do on OUR planet. If they don't like something we do - that's not their business. We shall just put gags in their mouth if they will dare to complain about something we do in our territory.

And, in the end, all gallente who stays on Caldari Prime IS the enemy and shall be removed by any means necessary.

DEATH TO GALLENTEAN OCCUPANTS!
Show them no mercy.

My advice to anyone concerned about this Capsuleer erection is to simply relax, take a deep breath, don't clench, and let it happen. It will probably be over soon.

I heard that the bidding competition was stiff for the construction work and that plenty of the backers got shafted once all of the financial dust settled. Also. one of my cousins in the Federation bureaucracy said that they really rammed through some of the proposals as well and that a lot of people felt they got hosed once money started shooting around everywhere.

My take is that somebody got taken for a ride behind the scenes on this one and that everybody probably needs a good cigarette and a nice night's rest to think about thing more clearly in the morning.

That's all hearsay, though, so don't get too excited.

Hey, that's MY erection you're talking about!

I mean... it's my building... the building I financed.... Damn it...

In any case, I'm sorry if some find it intrusive and intimidating, but it is what it is. It is kindly meant with the best of intentions towards both sides of the forming borders. If any Gallente on our side of the line find that the whole place is just depressingly Caldari - please talk to the Gallente initiative mentioned, Homeland Property Management. Any Caldari who are getting told they should just go to Caldari administered areas?

They're right! You should! And the Tuulinen Foundation will pay for your moving costs, guarantee you a job commensurate with your qualifications and experience (and our needs, of course) and provide you with a proper contract and housing. Your children will attend local schools. You'll have local medical care. You'll be cared for PROPERLY, as befits a proud Caldari citizen.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Let the mighty Caldari erection stand forever and intimidate Gallenteans with its size!! Keep doing the good job, Tuulinen-haan!

If the long shadow is too obstructive then the local citizens should build terraces and dwarf it. Sunbathing on a terrace is lovely and the breeze is better elevated. The grass is always better manicured and you are less likely to be disturbed. You are also that much closer to the Sun of your system itself. You should rise to meet it instead of condemn a super structure.

As far as tension and friction. There are better things to focus on.

I would suggest imagining these grievances are already resolved and think of something better to focus on.

The Universe is constantly evolving: Changing and ... floating. What will new generations think? Hiding within humanities DNA are endless possibilities. If we as a people do not accept one another for what anyone can offer the cosmos, new patterns of genetic superiority won't reveal itself.

There is no classification or regulated gene code in relation to: Intelligence, comeliness, fortitude and longevity. Creativity is something that comes with no race, color, or creed. As represented by the best ships in the galaxy which are almost always cross platform endeavors requiring more than one racial skill type to pilot.

I have noted this and attempted to multiclass my own clone to better accommodate the cosmos's need for multilateral, multifaceted DNA.

Unfortunately I trained Minmatar and Caldari starship command skills.

There is nothing on the market for those skill brackets but I still feel as though I have made a good attempt.

Perhaps one day.

Again, it goes without saying that nothing this impressive could have been managed without our sponsors, and for those of a Gallente Persuasion, you should remember that this is neither a Pyre-Falcon nor a Kaalakiota managed project - although Mama Oiritsuu chipped in some of the funding.
