Why isnt any Capital Ships for PvE avaiable?

I mean many of us like the PvE aspect of EvE.

Beyond Battleship (L4 L5) there is no more content for a solo PvE-er.

Wouldnt be cool to add some PvE Capitals, which could give us more goals, fun etc...


or is it just a complately stupid idea? :)

Theres literally hundreds of ratting carriers and people ratting in Supercarriers and Titans. The top 10 ratters in the game are supers and titans. Get out of high sec :P
If you are already out of high sec, I don't know where you are, but rat dreads and titans spawn in belts and anomalies now. there is your specific capital PvE.

Solo carriers and even dreads are commin in nulsec.

Hell even the npcs have titans here

I don't get the point.

There's tons of PvE available for carriers and bigger.

Wanting this for highsec really is a stupid idea and i am happy about your apparent self awareness. :)

As mentioned repeatedly above, high-sec is for beginners. You're supposed to move out of high-sec.

So that's why they're not adding more end-game / big reward / higher difficulty PVE / missions to high-sec. And people are asking them to remove the Incursions, because it's too much reward.

In any case, low, null, and (some of the) wormhole space allow capital ships and definitely have the PVE content for them.

Since theres no apparent reason the nerds have for it being a bad idea Ill tell you why its a good idea.

This and every other MMO out there survives on PvE - our ability to enjoy PvP relies on the funds generated by non-pvprs.

I PvEd in EvE early on mining my first battleship, then running level 4 missions. Then null ratting and null anoms, WH rats...

A few times I came back to EvE after a break I tried PvE. It was intolerable, I think I managed half a worlds collide in a Vindi before I began to feel ill since Id done this and every other mission likely hundreds perhaps thousands of times. You see irrespective of what mission, anom, belt rat you,ve killed they all behave exactly the same. Even incursions and wormholes its the same thing over and over.

Those of you who have played LoL, WoW, EQ just imagine how boringly aweful it would be if every NPC in every zone instance or dungeon just stood there or began slowly running circles around you throwing various sized rusty daggers and casting level 1 frostbolt and thats EvEs PvE in a nutshell.

So what is there other than writing completely new PvE other than new PvE ships to keep people interested.

In the,end it does not matter about the nerds so emotionally invested in highsec jealousy that they would oppose all forms of improving the game for highsec only players and thus providing more subs and funds for all. All that matters is convincing CCP to dump the Band of Developers and Devswarm bias and get some competent leadership with businesd acumen.
