The server will be live for a month before new players in cruisers are being stomped by fleets hundreds strong in battleships. They will whine just as hard as they do now.

In the mean while you'll have rammed a huge wedge into the community.

And in 2-3 years its make the new new server. As even the bitter vets on the new server are too salty and can never be caught up to.

Then 2-3 years after that....

Also fresh starts aren't the green grass it seems. Did this on a long break in Diablo 3 Seasonal play. Long story short in d3 seasonal play you make or convert an old char to run that season. level 1, no resources and cannot use anything you have on your regular non-seasonal section. Those fat loaded stash tabs and piles of gold...that seasonal char won't see that till season's over. first season was interesting...all new and clean.

By 3rd season optimized methods to be level 70in not time flat and paragon and greater rift pushes were in full effect. The new char smell got old fast. It became SSDD the moral to that story. Did the same stuff in different way (char class), but...still the same ends were met. And we all did this. Top players on each season...changes rankings a bit but....it was the same old people.

Eve I know doesn't do XP grinds. Its not just about the XP. I have year 1 eve playing friends who are just as deadly on thier low sp alts as the uber super duper SP main. You fly say frigates and cruisers for several years....you tend to get real good if you keep on doing that. Gear helps...so does actually knowing how to fly it well.

Existing social constructs and knowledge would migrate with the players, the political landscape would end up being the same as we have on TQ in short order; the same people but in smaller ships.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Only fun aspect to this would be seeing if the 0.0 crews scramble for the new 0.0 space. Peon rush eve style....but ,yeah, months later it be the same. Why have just 1 delve....have 2 and make it a matching set.

The sad part, is that CCP could easily do this by simply creating an entirely new map system, and create four other races living in some other part of the universe. Earth would've expanded again if given the chance, by the looks of it.

Hell, you wouldn't even need to create new ship stats, just new art for each hull, and new backstories.

Second verse, same as the first, a little bit louder a little bit worse

Get some Eve. Make it yours.
