Hello, friends.

I've read Vaerah Vahrokha's guides about price analytics. As I haven't found any tool to make a japanese candles chart, I've wrote my own one. It uses fresh info directly from API. ATM it doesn't work from IGB.

Hope, you'll find it usefull. Be free to write your comments and wishes.

A little instructions on how to make it work would be appreciated.

When site is opened, you should see the graph and two input fields on the top. Choose the region and the Item, which you want to analyse, and the graph should change. The graph shows dairy price changes for selected item, like FOREX japanese graph. You can input a part of name into a field, and base should find all existing elements with such name.

Looks like the problem with cyrillic symbols. Fixing.

I tried this in chromium but it gave an error about only supporting firefox.

Trade Hub Price Checker: stop.hammerti.me.uk/pricecheck

Visit "Haulers Channel" in game for all matters courier-related.

Structure name/system API: stop.hammerti.me.uk/api

The site seems to work now.

How do you define what is open/close? Using min sell orders? Average of something?

I hope it is now mixing buy and sell orders.

EVE Crest API returns information about high/lo/close. Previous close value becomes current open value. Info includes data about all commited transactions, so it shows only true statistics without any garbage, like 100000 PLEX for 0.01 ISK each.

In update 0.02 I've added "Production cost calculator" and traditional "Market orders list".

Nice stuff.

I am wondering how much of use the candles are in reality.
Say if an item is such that 70% of transactions happen via buy orders. Rest via sell orders.

Now if you are only interested in sell orders, the candles might give information that is misleading.
On the other hand the situation might be reverse.

I am curious how you get the information on this.

In stocks, it's done with time and sales data.

Limit orders on eve are published, but I haven't seen where sales are, so it doesn't seem to be a true indication of sales volume which is always a part of any good trading system.
