Asking a question to the Mercs about a POS in HS.

I'm going to be busy for a few months so my playing time is going to go down but not go away completely so I think I'm going to take my POS out of my WH so logistics are easier until everything gets slower again. I still want to manufacture while I'm busy but I never tried doing a POS in HS.

This is the POS that I use in my WH.

It's in a C1 and I never had anyone try to kill it because you can't get a BS through a C1 but it's a lot easier to get a BS fleet and logi fleet in HS.

Does a POS like this work OK in HS?

If Mercs got hired to kill it is it enough to make it really expensive to the Merc buyer?

Is this a POS that Mercs look at and want to try to "Loot Pinyata" it?

What can I do if it's not a good POS to make it better?

I can't put any more guns on it if I don't use the super-faction stuff ("True Sansha" and "Domination" and stuff) but I don't want to buy that stuff if I don't have to.

I know that I can just not do a POS and it's the best way to protect it but doing building in a station kinda sucks.

Your link is broken, but it doesn't matter too much; you'll generally be fine in highsec unless you do something stupid.

Keep your head down (find an out-of-the-way system, probably in a dead-end area), keep your mouth shut (don't smack-talk, either in-game or on the forums), and your nose dry (don't involve yourself in the game's politics), and you'll probably be fine.

Just as importantly, don't haul a lot of materials in one trip, and don't make large and expensive courier contracts. Break things up a bit so no one single shipment is going to attract the attention of gankers or campers.

Otherwise, use anything but a small and fill the CPU and PG you aren't using for industrial arrays with defenses and turrets. If your current tower has kept you safe in a wormhole, there's a pretty good chance it'll keep you safe in highsec.

If you have a corp who isn't afraid of wormhole life, chances are the freighter farmers will be afraid of your corp.

Put it this way if the next guy overs pos is tastier and less defended chances are yours will be fine as long as that is true. Don't make yourself the tastiest target.
