But that doesn't stop a spy from infiltrating your corporation and creating an incident leading to War Pirate

So nothing is set in stone. Roll

so lets have a corp who stays small and keeps membership to core friends.

Close off recruiting, stays that core and....this doesn't happen.

Been here before. Formed an empire based indy corp with friends once. With our empire alts. Any bloodlust was taken care of in 0.0. Our philosophy simple in empire....it was where me made additional isk to pay for 0.0 pvp and even make some profit ideally.. this much easier when you aren't making people mad at you by shooting them.

This is what many would do in your setup. The alt corp of trusted people in an unassailable structure. See my case and some others is we come to eve from other games. Been rolling with the same peeps in the same guild in other games for a good while....they become good choices for trusted partners in eve. We just call the guild a corp in eve....SSDD beyond that.

... you don't even need to do that you could have a fully open corp let anyone in and just use an alt corp with just one guy to put up the citadels

Too easy.

This idea promotes "lawfull" behaviour due to demanding a "just cause" ...
... which is not only highly subjective ...
... except for the self righteous monsters ...
... but also ridiculous, because every cause is just in the eyes of the one "causing".

Furthermore is it clearly intended to shield carebears.

Now i got to read through this clusterflower...

Do I need to read any of this, or is my assumption that some whiny numpty wants the rules changed because other people are doing things he doesn't like basically on point?

Nono!

This one seems to be one of those who believe that there should be some sort of honour-system ...
... where only those would participate in ...
... who have non anyway.

Came for zus post. Wasn't disappointed!

In a player-driven universe, declaring war because I don't like your forumposts would be perfectly valid. As it should be. If a council were able to stop an armed conflict, world wars one and two would not have happened.
